I won't write a full report because I think you guys have a good picture about the game.

Critical points:
1- I was one of the members here really satisfied with our midfielders. I think I was wrong. This is the second game in a raw where our players (excluding nedved) decide not to show up for the game. If I wanted to rate Almiron I'd give him 0. He shot once on goal during the first 5 min, and that was it. That was his ctrobution to his team in yesterday's match. I rated him 0 during the Cagliari game. Zanettti was not sharp, but alteast he was there. Camoranesi was good and his injury is a big misfortune for us. Nocerino was.. well He is not a wing no matter how much we try. He is a DM who likes to run to the right side of the field. BUT NOT AN OFFENSIVE MIDFIELDER let alone a wing. Tiago hasn't shown anything since he arrived here.
2- Deffense. The day has come when I say that Biridenlli was the sharpest and most accurate at the back... :( .. Andrade and Criscito were ... well... not there.. Chiellini produced a bellow his average game.
3- Because our deffense is weak (we all know that) the key to our success is our midfield. They have to be so focused and sharp to offload the pressure off the back. So what happens when the midfield doesn't show up?

We need to point out one more thing: Camoranesi, Marcchionni, Zebina, Salihamidzic, and Grygera are all first 11 or rotation players that are missing. We need every player on form if we want to make it through this season...

God bless Del Piero..
God bless buffon...
God bless nedved

You're such a wanker. You know, I agree with pretty much everything you say about football, but stop acting like a drama queen FFS. The namecalling and the capitals make you look like a baboon.

Tiago's quality. He's not playing well at the moment, but everyone has a lesser period in the season. What I would have done was play Palladino. This guy really deserves his chance.

We're pretty much screwed now Camoranesi's injured. That much is true.
sorry I show some emotion for my team...I'll never do it again, Mr. Maturity

thats a good point. but the hing that reassures me (not trying to be insecure about it) we have players like nedved, buffon, del piero, buffon, camo whic other teams of our quality do not have, when the team starts to get better which i hope is soon we will be a different team.

Did U really watched the Match?
Chiellini our best defender:shocked: !
The guy was alongside Almiron the worst player on the pitch,he was the laziest defender I've ever seen in a football match.
Every time he went forward,he returned back walking & left the CB suffering at back, even Birindelli was better than him.
Criscito was Very solid,& the goal wasnt a defence collapse,Andrade came forward to put Di Natale in the offside trap & Criscito with a very fast reflex saw him & came forward too & Di Natale was left offside by 2 meters, there left wing ranvery fast from the left & Nocerino ran after him but he was too late, actually the onlymistake Andrade & Criscito did in this ball is that after putting Di Natale in the offside trap, one of them should have ran directly to the guy who had the ball.
Di Natale wasnt offside at all as some people say,it was a Clear Goal.
Also Iaquinta & Tiago tried to do everything they can in the 30 min. they played & trust me Tiago will 100% start against Roma.
I must agree on one thing, why the fuck taking Trezy & Zanetti OUT,he could've put Tiago instead of Almiron,Birindelli or even Chiellini,we r losing at home against Udinise & he is still playing it Safe Cmonnn.
from your explanations, I wonder if you actually watched the match....

i think we should play palla wide right like he did for a game or so last season.
thats the thing thats really puzzling/annoying me with Ranieri. Is he satisfied with playing a player out of position ? cause putting nocerino is wasting him tactically imo and we lose a lot of effectiveness through the flanks due to that.

We didn't have the best attacking full back behind so putting an attacking player should've been the logical choice and from last year's games we saw that palla would do a very good job on the wing. FFS he was there on the left for a whole month when neddy got his suspension

Exactly what do you mean by teams of our quality? cos if you mean Inter, Milan and Roma then I am sorry to inform you that they have younger and better quality than what you have mentioned putting bias aside.

Buffon is the only 1 of that quartet that can do it over the course of a serieA season consistently.

Like Milan our key players are old and thats why Milan flag in seriea, buying golden oldies like Emerson and Ronaldo is hardly going to help your cause in the entire course of a season but they have a lot of quality and so they would be there or thereabouts but I cannot see them winning it.

Its early days but for our team to look tired, heavylegged and little energy at this stage of the season is worrying.

If they were not gelling then it would not be a huge problem but to completely lack pace and energy is another matter.

Once our invinciblity goes then any team would face us head on and more than likely beat us if we go by the quality we currently have.

Our biggest advantage right now is that we are Juventus and sometimes teams play the name and not the players and lose the match even before kick off.

I am just glad we are not in La liga cos we would be whooped quite badly as some teams there just do not respect reputation home or away whereas in Italy, you still have managers that would give us respect and that would play into our hands.

I am not going to heap all the blame on Ranieri cos this is not a good enough squad. I said that from the outset so many moons ago and nothing I have seen has changed my mind in the least.

There is a huge problem in the midfield as they cannot defend or attack and that is very bad combo

Back to Almiron, exaclty what are his qualities? Long balls to find teammates? He cannot run, he cannot tackle and because he is no where as good as Zidane, kaka, Totti, Veron or Riquelme, he cannot be given benefit of doubt with his work rate.

From what I have seen he should be benched straight away as he serves absolutely no purpose. If you see a player chasing another playing that is running with the ball and cannot get anywhere near that player then whats the point?

Word man

this guy is 99% time out of position.....with Udinese as well with Cagliari last week.

I just don't understand what people like you see in Tiago, Seven. It makes sense to give him a chance and see if he comes good when you consider what we paid for him, who our other options are, and how poor Almiron has been so far but what exactly makes this guy quality? He's an average player. He was average at Chelsea and he played well at Lyon because he was in the best team in a shite league with two great players next to him.

I pray he proves me, Vinman and denco wrong.
Even if he's really average...he's our best passer, best shooter, most creative man in central midfield. And you may now take a look in what kind of shithole we are :D

If someone is to blame for all this,it is our current Board.

We had the worst summer transfers Ever.

Why the Fuck selling Mutu???after all that we did for him,if we decided to loan him for a year when we went to serie b,he would never have said No,instead we sold him to our 1st contenders for the 4th place for a fucked up price & now he is one of the best players in Serie a & we desperatly need a player of his quality.
I can go on & on about stuff like this but moaning wont do nothing but If u want to blame someone for this team, blame the Board.
I honestly think that this is the best these players can give, maybe Tiago & Criscito are the only players who have more qualities that they showed so far.

tbh we did not deserved 3 points

but we could capture 1 point by Del Piero's free kick

Almiron did nothing,Tiago should start
Trezeguet should play 90 minutes

We have no squad depth, especially we have no left winger except Nedved

We should buy Ivanovic and Rosina immediatly.

Juve fan sentenced to year in jail
Tue 18 Sep, 01:30 PM

A Juventus fan has been sentenced to one year in prison after throwing a fire cracker onto the pitch against Udinese on Sunday. The 27-year-old was escorted by stewards away from the stands at Turin's Stadio Olimpico and to the local police station.

No-one was hurt and the fan spent two nights in jail before being taken to court on Tuesday.

Although it is unlikely that the fan will spend time in prison because Italian courts frequently suspend sentences for first-time offenders, he will be banned from all football stadia for the next three years.

Italian Football Federation president Giancarlo Abete was pleased with how the situation was dealt with by the fans, the police and the courts.

"This is an episode of great significance, it strengthens our efforts to fight violence in stadia," he said.

Sounds a pretty harsh punishment to me.
