How about this formation

Buffon

Molinaro Andrade Criscito Chiellini
Camoranesi Nocerino Almiron Nedved
Trezeguet Del Piero
Why no Zanetti?

He has been one of our best players in the first couple of games and we will need his defensive ability because I'm not convinced the defence will be able to cope with the Udinese attack without help.

I wouldn't drop Csricito so fast.. He is our second best CB of the group.
During the matches from the preseason till now, he very close to Adnrade's performance if not as good. He played on weak 45 min half.
We need a group at the back the know each other. The ideal would be Zebina, Andrade, Criscito and Chiellini. If Zebina is not playing then we put someone there. We shouldn't change another player. Our defence is not that good, and maybe its best bet is to play the same formation at the back so they know each other. Criscito and Andrade are getting along well. Lets not break it. Every hill climb has a set back, lets hope the Cagliari's game was theirs.

As an RB, well Nocerino would be my primary choice. Birindelli is totally out of form.
We could also player 3-5-2. Something like this
--------------------------- Buffon
-------------- Andrade -- Criscito -- Legro
Camoranesi ----- Almiron ---- Zanetti -- Chiellini
------------------------- Nedved
------------- Trezeguet ----- Del Piero

This is a very flexable formation that shifts from 3-5-2 while we are attacking to 5-3-2 while deffending. Nocerino could play in Almiron's role to give more deffence stability.

Hopefully Tiago proves that he worths playing for juve and with these money we paid , but as long as Almiron's improving, I'm not that worried about Tiago

Also everyday Nocerino's losing his chances in the starting XI, he can be a RB tomorrow as Almiron-Zanetti partnership is more satisfying in the Midfield,

Put Zanetti instead of Nocerino, that wasn't the point. I am worried about the backline.

Judging from the pre-match press I would not be surprised in the least if we were to trip against Udinese. It sets a bad precedent with the coach talking about the Roma fixture on the eve of a match against another team, and the optimism is beginning to phase into an aloof complacency.

What the team is missing perhaps is that three points gained in Udine will be worth no more (or less) than a victory in Rome. Even Ranieri is getting ahead of himself and that cannot be a good thing in my book. The veterans in the team will have to play their part in keeping the team level headed or we run the risk of bringing our perfect start to the season to a premature end.

I think 3-5-2 could suit Juve as long as they had say a Zambrotta type on the camronesi side. He dosent have the engine nor the defensive qualities nor the interest in defending then trying to get forward. Chellini on the other side would be perfect but only another type like Zambrotta would make this formation work for this Juve!

imo Tiago should play

our most expensive signing hasn't played not even one match in Serie A

Buffon

Salihamidzic-Jorge Andrade-Criscito-Chiellini

Camoranesi-Nocerino(Zanetti)-Tiago-Nedved

Trezeguet-Del Piero

I dont like this idea, cause hes bad and he does mistakes. I would prefer anyone over him.

When 3-5-2, it could be something like this:

-----------------------Buffon
----------Andrade---Criscito---Chiellini
--------------Nocerino---Zanetti
---Camoranesi---Almiron/Tiago---Nedved
--------------------Trez---DP

yep... no 3-5-2 , cant afford Camo n Nedved defendin' when we need them to help in creating a stronger attack.... i stick to the 4-4-2 with Brazzo (RB) unfortunately i think he is injured ...
