In general, I thought Roma made more of the better chances in the beginning. But fortunately our fullbacks in Chiellini and Zambro managed to shut down a bit at the wings. Some good tackles by our defensive line, and by Canna in particular. But some occasional sloppiness (like one series of missed tackles that looked like disaster). Neddy has been a real spark out there, but he deservedly earned his two cards for unnecessarily hacking.
In attack, we're getting the ball forwards nicely, but we haven't been able to get the finishing down, Cerci has been making some decent saves, and a Roma defender just so happens to have his head or other body part suddenly in the right place at the right time.
Still, I think we deserve the 1-0 advantage thus far. We seem to have fewer chances, but we've kept Roma's chances from being too threatening.
