My soundcodec might be included in that version of Media Player, it seems that the "DivX soundcodec" really is a Windows media codec. And since I just installed media player 9 I guess my codecs are new and you need media player 9 as well to be able to hear the sound

I've just done it, thanks nekton..but I still have no sound when played in divx..only the picture

and when I play in media player, I have sound but no picture

I played in WMP 9, and the video and sound works for me I haven't tried playing it with other sotware...

I tried playing on DivX, but no sound. So I guess the audio codec you used must be one for WMP 9

I tried it with DivX player 2.0 Alpha and it worked for me... weird

mine half works in WMP, and half works in DIVX
