Zebina got injured yesterday, im not sure if he'll start or not .... Chiellini has been injured for the last two and a half weeks.... In midfield, it's gonna be either Giannichedda or Blasi... I think Capello will start with Blasi this time .. If he had started with Blasi yesterday, then he could've used him in Zebina's place when he got injured and by that he could've saved a substitution, that could've been Trez for example.

Something like this would be my ideal formation, but swop Zambro's and Balza's position and the job is done. Attack Udinese when another of their top players have left.

The problem with our farmation is that Vieira is playing more deffensive than offensive. He should atleast play a central role rather than a defenssive role. He is not pushing forwards with shots. He was one of the best centre midfielders who shoot from distances. This is not happening with us.
We don't have a pronouced Offensive midfielder (Milan has Rui Costa, Barcelona has Ronaldinho, Real has Zidane, Bayern has Ballack) that played behind the strikers who drifts right or left depending on the ball possession. In more light, Nedved's role during the Lippi days.

I maintain that our forwards are lethal. They score from minimal chances.

For those who said Zalayata played really bad during the Roma match, didn't you notice that he was playing as a lone striker. The only ball he got he converted it into a really difficult situation for the Roma keeper who's hardly knocked it out to corner. That was the only chance Zayalata got during his ~60min playtime. Del Piero did not receive any chance in the last 30 min.
To win the CL you have to take risk and open up the game abit. Play offensively when needed. Play a pronounced playmaker + proper wings.
When we won the CL last time we were playing with three attackers and a playmaker. We were playing 4-3-3 and we were unstoppable. We turned Ajax's ass into fire.
We have the players to win everything, so let us be all we can be.

I agree with u that sometimes we must play more offensevly but sometimes I feel that playing with two half defenders especially ( Emeerson & Viera) we control the medfield Capello tacticks during the games are not that Brialliant but what is brilliant about Cap. is his personality & the personality he gives to the team the personality of wiining.One last thing man RUI COSTA?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Its Kaka now Rui played 2games this season & may be 3 last season & it is Kaka the only reason that Milan r 3rd if they didnt have Kaka the would have been 9th for example.
