We do not always show up for the big matches...that's fairly obvious looking at our history. She certainly has a point.
Plus Inter ARE a weak side, aren't they? :D

More seriously, I don't think our horrible display against Bayern should worry us that much. We've been very good thus far, though mechanical and boring at times, and our results show our strength. Our only weakness, in my opinion, is GK.
Now, Sampdoria is not a side to be taken lightly. They can surprise, as they did last year. But I don't think they'll be able to keep us from conquering our ninth consecutive win (breaking the record will be an extra-motivation).

Abbiati

Zambrotta - Kovac - Cannavaro - Chiellini

Camoranesi - Emerson - Giannichedda

Mutu - Trezeguet - Del Piero
I like that formation. Chiellini could need some playtime.

Yeee! That's exactly what happend vs Inter. You are a true football oracle.
ups,I forgot that Inter is a world class team at the high level of Bayern.
with this kind of playing,we may win the 29th scudetto but we should forget about winning the CL once again.

For once, I am happy about the realism among so many juventini here. Given that we currently have the best Serie A start in history right now, I was expecting a lot more people to say how much we were going to demolish Samp 6-0. :)

We're home, which is good. Even if we lost 1-0 to Samp the last time. And injuries are mounting and are becoming a concern.

Still, Samp is not what they were last season, IMO. In particular, their defense hasn't lived up to expectations. So I am far more optimistic than usual. Samp is far more beatable this season than last thus far.

I expect us to set the new Serie A start record with this match -- call it a 2-1 win. But then we will have our hands full in preparation for Milan at the San Siro next weekend.

think samp are a wee bit vurnerable at the back we should put zalayeta and trez up top and whip the balls in from the flanks and batter the samp reargaurd

Ibra, Abiatti, Viera and Thuram are out of Samps game.

Sampdoria maybe is not so easy, remember that we lost the last season in home against they
What's your source? How do you know that Ibrahimovic and Abbiati are out when no tests have been carried out on them as yet?

They walked off under their own power. I think both moves were precautionary, TBH.

(ie, I agree with you, amico mio ;) )

Which will be a trick as a draw gets us 1, a win 3 (which it will be), and a loss 0.

    We can't lose points:confused:
what if our fans make troubles, for example kill like 2000 Sampdoria fans? the federation will reduce points then :D

Samp will prove us that they are a good team this season and we´ll have to be at our best in order to win the game.

But with Juve it is all about the determination!!!
We have a worlclass team and should not lose initiative against any opponent. The problem against BM was not the lineup or tactics. It was all about the lack of suffering. In order to win against the dragons you have to fight for your teammates in 90 minutes. Working extremely hard thru out the game and never give up, always encourage. That is what is called team spirit. And team spirit is the only thing that win you the titles!

    Lets get this 3 points.

last season samp won in turin 1-0 , i hope that we can beat them this time , especally that their form is not that good , they draw at home against seina 3-3 , but they have dangerous players although Flachi is suspended since he was sent off in seina game , i predict 2-0 win

Novellino is a very good coach that knows wat to do against the big teams. He already gave milan their first defeat in the season.

Since flachi is out i think that Bonnazoli is the biggest threat upfront. He is a very strong players in the air and has very good foot skills.I remember when he was in Parma with Gilardino, but both of them were on the bench cuz they had Adriano.I think he is much better than Gila, he just didnt get his chance.
    Canna can handle him though.

I think that capello will start the same back four. However the midfield and the forwards will change i guess.Mybe we will see Mutu starting upfront with trezi or zlatan.I dont think that neddy will be relegated to the bench for this one, i guess that alex is the candidate to be dropped.
Its very important to have camo in the starting eleven cuz their midfield is not an easy one.

agreed camo gives the drive we really need as well as that bit extra quality,i would like to see trez and zala up front with camo and mutu on the wings whipping the ball in for the two big guys i think the samp defence would crumble with that. save zlatan and alex for milan

    Ibrahimovic Celebrates First League Goal
    10/24/2005 7:44:00 AM
The Swedish forward scored his first Serie A goal of the season during Juve’s 3-0 win at Lecce.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic found the net for the first time during this season in Serie A, but also had to leave the pitch due to a minor injury in the second half of Lecce-Juve.

“I hurt my right foot during the match, I felt a bit of pain, but it’s just a small problem. Now we are already concentrated on the match against Sampdoria, a very difficult match also because last year we lost 1-0. However this gives us more will to win."

Juventus boss Fabio Capello insists their record equalling start to the season will be useless unless they retain Lo Scudetto.

The Bianconeri have now won their first eight games to match the achievements of the 1930-31 and 1985-86 Juventus sides.

Although he has now joined Carlo Carcano and Giovanni Trapattoni in the history books, the Coach isn’t in the mood to celebrate.

"Numbers are worth little at this stage," he said after the 3-0 win at Lecce. "They will only be important at the end of the season.

"We will calmly continue with our campaign, without thinking about records and with the aim of not relaxing."

When asked whether this present Juventus side had anything in common with Trap’s 80s version, Capello insisted they are two separate entities.

"There are no similarities between that team and mine," he continued. "Football has changed since then.

"Who is my Michel Platini? There is nobody like him. We have a different side and a diverse style of play. You can’t make any comparisons."

Juventus have the chance to make it an unprecedented nine wins on Wednesday against Sampdoria at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

The 1930-31 and 1985-86 sides saw their 100 per cent records come to an end with defeats to Napoli.

This game is even difficulter than the game against milan. Last seaso we lost our first points against palemro at home (1-1) and juve must be very atent in this game. samp is a very dangrous side.

    My formation for this game:

    ----------------------------Landry BONNEFOI

    ----Zambrotta----Kovac-------Canavarro----------Chielini
    ----Camoranesi-----Blasi----------Emerson------Mutu
    -------------------Trezeguet------Del Piero

Actionly I would like Mutu to play behind the strickers, but cappelo won´t do that.
yes and I mean that seriously. let Bonnefoi play, if Abbiati is not fit. May be he is better than abbiati and chiementi. just let him play.
