we aren't playing good.until the time we're playing against the sides such as Lecce everything is ok and we win even with a briliant result but as soon as we meet a stronger side such as Bayern we suck and give up the result.
Yeee! That's exactly what happend vs Inter. You are a true football oracle.

Chimenti

Zambrotta - Kovac - Cannavaro - Chiellini

Camoranesi - Emerson - Giannichedda

Del Piero - Trezeguet - Mutu
I would use Zalayeta instead of Trezeguet actually, wonder how he will do when he starts the game. Why not give it a shot?

We do not always show up for the big matches...that's fairly obvious looking at our history. She certainly has a point.

Have faith in the team, that is the most important factor.
I don't believe that we will be slacking against Sampdoria. If we can crush Inter 2 - 0 b4, I'm sure we wil be able to hold out against the big teams with the right attitude.

Trezeguet sat out the match today as well, though. I think he needs to get the start at least every other game.

You have a point, but that way you want him on the bench against Milan.

Well, we were saying that last year, but...
complacency matters a lot though, a weakness that occur at this period.

On the contrary, I wouldn't be surprised that we were to lose this match. If we were able to win the next 2, I would be glad as well. After all it is very tiring for our players to play against 3 strong sides in a period of 9 days

Thats not exactly what I said...that would be stupidity at its best. I said Trezeguet should start at least every other match, not sit out twice in a row.

Even though I didn't see Lecce, but what I read from the match thread isn't really promising. We have a really tough schedule and I cannot come to convince myself that we can pull it off. Sampdoria is one of the best sides this year in Serie A, I think the odds of dropping points in that match is higher than the odds of dropping them with Milan! Milan matches are always coupled with tremendous media coverage and emphasis, the players themselves are automatically motivated to get a good result, which is not the case with Sampdoria.

Playing Sampdoria, Milan, Bayern, and Livorno in such a tight schedule is going to be a really tough task if not impossible to get positive results in all of them. If we somehow pass this challenge without dropping any points, then I must say that we would have the most formidable team in Europe!

no DP?
No, not from the start anyways. Mutu and Zalayeta deserve some playing time and knowing Capello their chances will be limited with games against Milan and Bayern to come next week so I'd play them on Wednesday.

Giving Zalayeta a start is exactly why I left Del Piero out of my lineup. Trez was rested against Lecce so I'd let him play at least 45 mins in this game. You said that you would play DP because we need someone creative upfront but I think we'd do well enough with Camo and Mutu on the flanks. Give Adrian freedom to cut into the middle and let Zalayeta drop deep from time to time. The latter may not be creative but he can make things happen. DP can come on for Trezeguet in the second half.

very very tough game against a very determined Sampa side.
An advantage to us is that they conceeded alot in their game.So we can jump on that fact.If we can score i can see the team holding the result.
They have a very tough midfield. And a very good forward in Bonazzoli.
Gianni and emo will need to produce a good performance. Also i think it was very smart on capello's part to keep camo out in the lecce game cuz he is needed for the next games.
The forward line-up doesnt interest me that much cuz i think all our forwards can score.

a draw would be enough for me, but only if the team doesn't put in the maximum effort.Cuz we will need fresh players for the games against Milan, Bayern.

Zlatan could need to rest his leg and Zalayeta proved effective against Lecce. I would like to see more of him. Capello said Abbiati's injury was not that bad but what do you think about the situation if Chimenti would replace him? Goalies can decide matches so I'm quite nervous about this.

Ibra, Abiatti, Viera and Thuram are out of Samps game.

Sampdoria maybe is not so easy, remember that we lost the last season in home against they
