Beautiful run by CHiellini, Amauri with some good footwork and center. That was very nice stuff as I was just assuming Giorgio would blast the ball up towards the Alps.

And HT now.

That was the best half Juventus have played the whole season. Lots of skill, lots of awareness and above all efficiency. They seem to be knowing what should be done and how to execute it.

Sampdoria still resorting to long ball tactics. they seem all out of sorts, and now is the time to put the final nail in the coffin.

We are terrorizing Samp from that left flank, and much of it is coming from Giovinco and Amauri.
    :agree:

Grosso is also adding to the quality of our left side because he is at least thinking about crossing and passing and he's seeing the goal and the people close to it.
That's what we're missing on the right side with Grygera. Grygera gets the ball and is passing it back. Absolutely useless in this attacking Juve.

It has indeed been our best half of football thus far this year. Sampdoria didn't even get a sniff in front of goal, and much of that is thanks to the incredibly solid play from Melo and Sissoko in midfield. Those guys were everywhere not only winning balls, but then distributing them to fellow teammates for a counter-attack. That's some of the best midfield play I've seen this year from any team. Nothing got through.

It seems that the 4-2-3-1 is our best option with this group of players. We are able to trouble Samp from basically all angles, especially on the left side, on the flanks and in the box. The only thing we need to improve upon is our support for the attack on the right flank and keeping it simple (stupid) in their box when it comes to creating and finishing.

Amauri, Joe Vinko, Diego, Melo, Sissoko, Grosso, Canna, and Chiellini have all had good games thus far. Need to see more from Camo and Grygera on that right side, however.

Juventus focusing on the right wing. Camoranesi sends a ball to the box but Amauri fouls.

    Trezeguet is warming up.
