At this stage of the season how you play does not matter but winning is all that counts so i guess its all good. Fans at the stadium did not help Zlatan at all by booing and whistling his every mistake and singing for Dp but then agin Zlatan showed his distinct lack of class by putting hands to ears after he scored. I mean for goodness sakes what did he expect? Prior to scoring an easy goal, he missed some very good chances about 3 of them and throughout this year he has been very poor. Did he not expect them to vent out their frustrations out on him? Again referees in Italy just leave a very bad taste cos Palerom should have had a couple of penalties.
Personally, i would love to see Moggi and co thrown out of football altogether as they are brining the game into disrepute , time and time again. It cannot just be pure allegations and it cannot just be media trying to stir up stuff to deter our challenges. If these are untru stories them Moggi and co should sue, but they never do, do they ? Are hey afraid what might turn up if they did? The transcripts are damning and please can somebody explain to me why anyone would request referees for a friendly game? Thats just madness.
If only we did not suck so badly in Cl, i would have given no credence at all to these stories but seeingf as we do, its hard not to think that we do not influence games and no matter how much some people think Moggi has helped this club, i think its better we get rid of him and the stench he leaves behind. I don't care if other clubs do it, its not on at all.

i really dont care, untill those allegations r poven in a court then i wont beleive them. How come when it's a refferee makes a mistake in juve's favour then it suddenly controversy. I saw almost soo many mistakes done in favour of milan and even inte. What its only the triad that have influence on italian football? they have some influence but not this big influence.

abt ibra yeah wat was he thinking when he put his hand on his ears...thats just stupid he should try and win the fans but with immaturity he is just drifting them away.

I don't care about that gesture at all

He scored what may prove to be an absolutely crucial goal and I'm happy for him, the club, and every one of us fans that he did

Deep down inside I didn't think we were going to win today, but we did, and we're now very much in the driving seat..

OK, again so only about half the match due to split coverage... so another abbreviated match report from me.

Score early, score often. Just as last week, this is what it's all about to get us out of our draw slump. A decent, albeit not great, Juve effort. We didn't make a lot of chances in the first half, but the ones we made were good. We didn't give Palermo too much. By the second half, we really needed that crucial second goal from Zlatan... and from them it was hanging on for dear life against Palermo's attempted equalizer.

MOM? Nedved. He's on form, making very heads-up plays in front of goal and in distributing the ball. And the first goal is so crucial in matches at this stage of the Scudetto race.

Also excellent games: Zambro. He was a defensive force today and showed great tenacity and relentlessness. Camoranesi: glad we started with him instead of Mutu in this match, as his hustle made a real difference for us.

Weaker matches: Del Piero didn't do much with his time out there. Trezeguet didn't get his touches much. Kovac made a few mistakes I noticed.

Otherwise the team was pretty average to pretty decent. Great goal for Zlatan -- nice to see him get his finish. But he did deserve the jeers he had up to that point after many, many consecutive games of poor finishing and a number of weak decisions with the ball. He has so much talent, he seems to need mental work to bring it out. Buffon had a couple of good saves, but some were probably unnecessary if he had planted himself in a better position in goal.

Reggina won't be easy. We're still not in stellar form, and matches at Reggina are always a challenge. We lost there last season. They're pretty safe from the relegation zone, but it looks by just a hair and a coin toss should they lose. But hopefully we can play to win and still eek out a draw ... and hope that Roma is fired up to catch up on Fiorentina.

Forza Juve!

Mediaset's evaluation of players:

Buffon 5.5
Balzaretti 5.5
Cannavaro F. 5.5
Kovac 6
Camoranesi 7
Emerson 6.5
Nedved 7
Vieira 6
Zambrotta 6.5

Capello 6.5

------------------------------------------------------

Camoranesi and Nedved were the best...

Our defense and Del Piero were not in their peak today...

DP seems frustrated, for good reason. no matter what he does, he comes off the bench.
today del deserved to be on the field from the start.....Zlaten played ok, he couldn't miss the breakaway and he was lucky when he played the ball back into the area for the second one. Del Piero has been in form most of the season and hasn't gotten rewarded, the only time he plays is when capello wants to sit zlaten which isn't right at all.

Welcome back Cam, he played a great game!

Ibra did a great job,he went & played under a large pressure,at least 30,000 in Delli Alpi were booing at him every time he did a mistake BUT when he scored I saw in the eyes of every Juventino in Delli Alpi, they love the Swede!the man is out of form since december & there are posters for him everywhere in the stadium(on of them was(Zlatan SON OF GOD)) I think we must give him another year, every Juve fan, even the ones who hate the hell out of this man know his talent & know what he is capable of doing! by the looks at the Triade face after Zlatan goal,I think or at least I hope he is staying another year!

I agree with the first part and zlaten playing good, I dont agree with zlaten staying another year. We play milan, inter, roma, and fiorentina 2 times each. That is 8 games that I never saw ibrah play good, not to mention the Champions League. Del Piero single handly beat inter the second time and fiorentina in coppa italia. We can't have ibrah showing up in games that shouldn't matter. We should have never been in this position if he would of played better games down the stretch. To me, Ibrah doesn't show up in big games and Del Piero does.

I want Ibrah out.
