Here's the probable line-up:

Buffon - Birindelli, Legrottaglie, Iuliano, Zambrotta - Appiah, Tudor - Miccoli, Nedved, Di Vaio - Trezeguet

Any idea as to why Thuram's on the bench?
Good ,we must attack ,we have nothing to loose know.

SHlT.. no tv coverage for the match.. :(

anyway, if there is a good thing about this match.. it would be that we don't have anything to lose.. 2nd place..?? wouldn't make such a difference.. really.. if we have to face a weak side to qualify for next year CL, and we didn't qualify (God Forbid) then we don't deserve it..

I really hope we start with difficulties next season.. coz then, it only can go better as we progress..

make any sense..?? :undecide:

It really is true, isn't it?!
If Maresca playes Just one game a LITTLE less good as usual, he never starts....

Lippi prefers Appiah to Maresca.

I'm personally getting tired of Lippi's tactics, when it's so obvious to everyone that he's making the wrong choices. Maybe i shouldn't talk, because I'm not a manager, but I'm left bewildered by his decisions on an almost consistent basis

Yes his formations and/or subs often don't make any sense. But who are we to judge a manager who earns millions ?...

Well, i totaly agree with Maresca starting from the first whistle, but i think the reason for him to picking Appiah instead of Maresca is simply becoz he wants Appiah to take up the job of Davids, which is not part of Maresca's game. Have you ever wondered why Appiah barely has a shot on goal? Becoz he's played defensive enough from taking a shot. Davids barely shoots when he was with us. Same thing. But it is obvious that Appiah aint filling up Davids' boots the way we expect him to. Davids is Iriplaceable IMO.

You raise some good points only_juve, but if Lippi insists on playing Appiah so much, IMO it's idiotic to play Tudor in DM and bench Maresca, when he's got Legrottaglie and Iuliano in defence - hardly the most solid pair. Put Tudor at CB and start Maresca at all costs

Buffon
Birindelli Legrottaglie Iuliano Zambrotta
Appiah Tudor
Miccoli Nedved Di Vaio
Trezeguet

I don't know why Thuram's missing, but if Lippi insists on having those players on the field, at least play Tudor at CB instead of the horrible Legro and Iuliano.

Buffon
Biri Tudor Legro/Iuli Zambro
Appiah Maresca

I like having Miccoli Nedved Di Vaio and Trez on at the same time though

I think Davids has always been overrated and hasn't been our secret of succes the last years. But let's pretend he was so great, Maresca would be much more a heir to Davids, I think Maresca is better than Davids. Davids by the way actualy did attack now and then.

If i'm right we haven't lost a single match yet in which Maresca STARTED the game.

Yes if Lippi thinks Appiah is so important, why doesn't he let Appiah be the dmf in Tacchi's place. Now is the perfect oppertunity to try it out.

I also prefer Tudor, but Lippi prefers Appiah AND Tudor above Maresca and one of the former two.
