Emerson's technique is simply too bad. I don't care how people always tell me he holds our team together, I see him making costly errors in midfield which are more often than not dangerous. Why would Juve play with a defensive midfielder who can't control a ball?

And on another note, anyone who says we played well must have been drunk. Around the 70th minute I actually fell asleep. It was horrible.

And it was nowhere near a penalty. Not to mention that second yellow was very very harsh.

Emerson is the best player for us this season so far,his form is always stable & he is one of the most important players for this team.btw statistics shows that he is the most player in Serie a who mad right passes!!! so........

Decidedly wretched game with a very wretched performance overall by us , wretched pitch which made good football difficult and a referee who just destroyed any chance of a decent game with his constant whistling and issuing of yellow cards. In the first half i thought Emerson and Nedved were excellent, with Mutu being very lively except for his play acting which i didnt appreciate. In the second half Emerson went down a little bit whilst Nedved kept up his good work and Balzaretti became a factor.

Kovac, thank goodness for his goal as he was otherwise very ordinary, Thuram is awful in the air as the goal we conceded showed and we have not kept a clean sheet in serieA since the Reginna game.
We are conceding far too many goals and its almost always from a cross. They should be trying in training.

I cannot blame Capello for this display as the players were just annoying, with most of them showing little urgency like Dp who was absolute crap

Buffon: Could do nothing about the goal but must be concerned that he has kept just the 1 clean sheet for a long time 6
Pessotto: Offers nothing going forward but okay at the back m, to be fair there was very little for him to do 6
Balzaretti: shaky first half but became active in the second half 6.5
Thuram: Partly to blame for the goal as he was not marking anyone but little to do afterwards 6
Kovac: Scored a good header after being given the freedom of the park but he has no skills whatsoever and seems to be slow and prone to commit fouls, not sure id want him to cover for a long period of time 6
Vieria: Another mixed performance, good at stopping play but not so good at starting attacks and can be careless at times 6
Emerson: Scored a very good goal, missed a good header, got a huge bump on the head and was controled the play in the first half 7
Mutu: active as usual and at least he showed good apetite for the game and was involved in the first 2 goals as he cut in and beat a player and though his shot was going horribly wide, Emerson backheeled into the net 6.5
Nedved: Best player on the park for me and was always dangerous, gave better balls today, worked very hard, won a dubious penalty, got in a header, a very good shot which the keeper beat out 7.5
Dp: Probably our worst player as he seemed lethargic and only came alive towards the end 5
Zlatan: Played better than he did against Bremen but he can be so casual at times but he did work hard 6

Soft red card, dubious penalty call. Boy, did we look good again.

What do u mean about "soft red card"?
I ve just the double Camoreni foul on Zlatan,
he didnt even touched the ball,
his was too agressive and he clearly intentioned to stop Zlatan at all cost
right in front of the Ref,
the ref couldnt deny it because it was in front of his eye at 2m distance...

Today we played a team in Lecce who have all the offensive prowess of a decent Serie C team. I believe they have the lowest (or close to it) goal total of any other Serie A teams

Of course, that didnt stop them from jumping on us quick, and scoring first off of, you guessed it, a cross. If anyone else here saw the Bremen game, you will understand that statement. We cannot cover crosses, and that will end up being a large part of our demise

When we did manage to equalize, it was off of a damn pinball type play..the ball was bouncing around the Lecce area, and Emo managed to put it in. If he said it was by accident, I would almost have to believe him

Our second goal came off of a free-kick, and scored by an unlikely source- Kovac

The third was a bit of a dubious penalty when Neddy was tripped near the inside edge of the box, close to the top of the box...and DP converted the PK

Otherwise, we played a shit game. Lecce went a man down, and we couldnt find the goal.

Our open play is lacking, and I beleive that starts in the midfield. Vieira still hasnt arrived from Arsenal, and Emo consistency is also worrying.

Mutu and Neddy were once again played out of position, but Neddy shows, time and time again, when he gets into the center of the field, he becomes very dangerous...WHY DOESN'T CRAP SEE THIS ??!!:wallbang: :wallbang: :wallbang:

Dp wasnt great today, and Zlatan is showing that his finishing need lots of work. He has good ball skills, but a lot more is needed to prosper in Serie A. If he doesnt get better, I'm sure he could find a career somewhere as a futsal player

In all seriousness, I am extermely worried about our team. I posted in another thread a few months back that we would crash out of the CL this round, and we would struggle to win the scudetto

After watching us play today, I now believe 2 things will happen-

1) Bremen will knock us out of the CL

2) Milan will top the Serie A standings by mid- April

We've already talked about all of Crap's ineptness, and it will destroy this team. We have the right PLAYERS, but the WRONG coach...plain and simple

He will NOT change formations to best suit the players he has, and will not make adjustments during games to help our team out. He will live and die by the 4-4-2, and we will all suffer because of it !!!

And, to all the jokers here who dont watch all the games, and only argument is "you guys are laughable" and "forza Juve" when challenged by my comments, without giving any reasons for your opinions, we'll see who is right in a very short time.....

I did watched both the Milan game and after that the Juve game,
the Milan club really struggled against Palermo,
that game was very balanced and very boring in the first half,
much more boring than ours,
i dont think they are in a much better shape than us...

After i watched Milan, i red some of the comments here and there
and i had the impression, Juve had again a horrible game,
wich was converted to a win, only by the help of the refs...

I was surprised to see that Juve allowed Lecce, to take only, about 3goals on and off target all the game long,
Lecce didnt managed to work a single organized offensive play in the entire game, we had all the possesion we could ask,
our defence wasnt really chalenged at any moment,
allthough again we sould play with other schemes of the original planned (Blasi accidentation, called Pessotto to replace him)

and we had the total control of the game and triliions of chances to score goals and goals,
Nedved esp was very very active and tried many many long shoots,
Zlatan was positive too, he was far from his usual "ego" play
and had many decent chances to score,

Mutu played better than the last times and he was more active than Camo seems to be lately (he was a little violent some moments though)
Vieira did less mistakes than usual too,
DP wasnt as hot as lately, but defintly neither negative too,
Emo was solid as usual regardless the attemt to crack his head,
Balza was outrunned once, thats it, he had a very good contribution,
Kovac, Thuram and Buffon werent really tested but there was nothing to do, to avoid that goal, a perfect cross wich was beyond everybody's reach but D.vechio's

I think ppl were sad and mad of Juve because of the very irritating way we lost over Werder, this game was one of the best performances from Juve the last month (save Inter's), we dominated the game all times and we did it effortessly,
if we had a similar performance against Werder thing would be very different.

And i dont really understand why some ppl wanted to win Lecce 6-0 to give us the right boost confidence, over Werder,
we had a convincing victory, the game was decide even before the red card and penalty,
our team never makes that extra effort to score 5 goals/game normally,
esp not now before the Cl, why sould we exaust our selves?
our goals against Lecce want help us on the aggregade dif
for the CL...

Would you actually take any satisfaction from being right on us losing everything?

Directly I, of course, wouldn't.

Indirectly however, that would make the need for change clear. And that could very well be a good thing. I, for one, don't like Capello and the Zlatan-mentality he brought with him. Juventus used to have class, but now we're just as cocky as Roma. And truly great teams are far from cocky.

i cant believe that u would be Happy when ur prediction happens... u want to see the team loses just to prove a point..am just dissappointed

i didnt watch the game, but i read a few reports from here and there and a few comments in the forum.

It wasnt the great performance everyone wanted. But i think we got a result which is more imporatant for me. Not having a great game isnt that bad becuz we need the players to rethink their performances and cap as well.

Conceeding goals is alarming, very alarming..Good defenses develop when they get match practice together, and if u see this period where we have been conceeding the defence wasnt stable at all.

abt the prediction u made :
in the CL there is a chance for ur prediction, but i would like to stay positive and say we will get the result in the Delli Alpi.

For the league i would have to disagree with you, Milan are not having the best of times as well...They didnt deserve to win in sicily, and the bayern game too.
So choose another candidate to take us down.

Juve will always be a class team, i dont think our players became cocky like the roma players that would never happen, no coach or players would ever succeed in doing that.

And if u dont like the coach or any players then u want the team to lose
Thats selfish
