Earlier Jack pointed out we were getting outmuscled. But how does a team with the likes of Sissoko, Melo and Marchisio in midfield and our back-four lose a strength battle?

We have to do a better job in midfield. Without Maicon out there we have handled the left flank situation rather well, but the right side still poses some danger.

Camoranesi will probably see time in the second, perhaps for Marchisio.
A Camo roaming from left to right is exactly what we need, he will do chaos in between the Inter lines, something that Diego has failed to do by allowing too much space between him and the forwards.

That is not Diego's fault, though. This sort of thing is predictable and has been predicted by me, you and others, probably one of the easiest forecasts to make. Without a regista, or without another creative force in midfield, Diego will have to come back to get the ball and create, thus taking him away from his danger areas.

If Ferrara can't see this we're in trouble. Camo has to play these matches.

Theoretically, at least on paper, the best movement will be produced with Camo, Diego and Gio behind the lone striker. But that didn't always work well because the players on the pitch didn't feel like interchanging, or else were told not to.

And as I say this, Diego is stripped in midfield because he had no support, and Inter got a quick counter.

They should really think about getting an understudy for Camo in January.

A tired and ineffective Camo playing all of these matches is worse than playing a man down.

And Inter is pressuring again

    uHHHH, This was dangerous.

Diego held the ball too much, lost it of course, and Inter had a dangerous counter but fortunately Milito didn't get Eto's pass. If he did he'd have found himself 1 on 1 with Buffon.

And we started awfully in this half. Chiellini passed to to no-one and gives a throw in for Inter.

Really haphazard defending here; actually looks desperate in that our players are fighting each other to clear the ball.

Sissoko needs to do better shutting these guys down, as I know he can do.

Either that or at least another creative force somewhere in midfield. Won't happen until Summer though.

Although, there was rumor of van der Vaart coming on loan.
