imagine how frequent and annoying would those questions would become if we didnt intervene

You may have a point, amico mio...

How about such questions can be rephrased to:

"Where can I find out Empoli's etc, etc"? :)

My point is, what is the point in posting a "look it up yourself" reply? If it bugs you, just ignore the post would be easier, no?

I will drop this now. :)

19 points; 16th place.

A forum that doesn't attract new members (including newbies to the sport) will soon die. The only way to do that is by being friendly and answering legitimate questions (such as this one). If it bugs you, ignore them. :)

Not meant to be "in your face" in any way :)
1-He is not a Newbie, he has over 1000 posts already

2-I believe most of us wouldnt be able to answer his question on the spot, Empoli's games, position, records are not really top-of-mind to most of us. So about anybody answering his question would probably google it. Its kinda just like shifting the burden from him to someone else.

3-No I would'nt ignore him, if we did, all kind of stupid questions will pop up.

you may also look the positive side,I didn't know what poisition was Empoli untill I saw the answer from a member (answering his question).not a big deal, but the question added something to my "information".

and for #3,the forum is full of bulshit and stupid questions, you can't deal with them this way,it will only make them argue with you..

Back to the game...

I do expect our team to control the game from the 1st min and to dominate Empoli. And I hope we wont be conceding another goal. Fvck, how much I hate conceding goals.

Yes it did, but it just bugs me when someone just seems to as shifting the burden. Had he asked what is our record against them or who is the top ten scorer in our ties them then I think thats ok, it just a bit harder to find. But what position is Empoli??
