Taking out DP was indeed a bad move. Micco for the on this occasion useless Camo would've been better, and then if he thought that DP wasn't offering enough he could've opted for a switch with Di Vaio coming in.

unfortunately I think Chievo's attacking midfielders and strikers are very much capable of outpacing us. Remember how Santana put Thuram to shame? They're always a hard team to beat, but we always have beaten them, do not let the tradition stop :)
Chievo will score, there's no doubt about that in my mind, we just have to do our best to score more than they do.

    Already a thread :)
Oops...must have been writing it while Fantasista was making a new one.

I think we have good chances for this match, and we have always won against Chievo. The defence though is a problem so much depends on how much we concede.

Well, at least I'll get to watch this match on TV sunday morning.

I just need to make sure I don't eat breakfast, and close my eyes whenever Chievo brings the ball anywhere near the penalty area.

I suddenly have a good feeling about the match. Maybe because the disappointment from the Emopli match has finally worn away.

Some good news comes in the form of suspension of Simone Perrotta, their midfield maestro. Though, we will have to be careful of Santana, as he tends to lift his form up when facing one of the big teams.

I believe whoever plays in defence will do their best and remain concentrated for the whole 90 minutes to shut the critics.

I also think it's about time Appiah gets his place back (instead of Conte). He must be hungry to start matches again and prove his worth.

Maresca seems to be out for some time (possibly 5 more days) and that's too bad as he was on fire before his injury.

Upfront, I think we should give DP-Treze another shot as they scored 6 goals between them in the last 2 matches. Keep Miccoli-Di Vaio rested for Inter in the Coppa.

4-0 would be nice. Unlikely, but still very nice.

PS. Milan have beaten Siena and increased their lead over us so we simply HAVE to win this match.

next match is at home we must win this one to keep going after the leaders and we will face roma at thier ground the game after and our champions league game is in 1 month so we need some concentrtation please ,, balance and determanation ...

legro must play again since he learned his lesson on the bench ,, camo needs 2 games off to think how he can contrbuite some good play as he did not the whole season .

playing with one winger like camo isn't working good for tactical reasons in both attacking or defending

we need 1 formation for three matches without changing tactics and players

we are in feb and the coach did not figure out the right formation or the starting 11 ,, and that is suside .

i would suggest a new formation for the mean time for the next 2 games .

    ------------------------------- buffon
    thram----------- legro------------ montero----------- zambrotta
    ---------------------------- tach-------------------------
    ---------- conte---------------------- maresca
    ------------------ nedved
    ------------------------------------------- del piero
    -------------------------- trez

this will give us good domination on the midfield ,, iknow it is not that good if we considered the attacking mentality of it but we need some balance we must not conced goals we had enough !!!

we still have good subs to attack : camo , micoli , di vaio

we need balance and we need to stick with an option for at least 2-3 games ,,, champions league clash is a head of us !!!

all I know is that we could not afford another slip up. Now is the time to show our true quality which lies in consistency. From here on, it has to be victories all the way, occassional draws (hopefully not) and I do not want any defeats but if we do have some on our way hopefully Roma or Milan or both will have their own slipups.

Roma is starting to slip, Milan will too soon. That's how it is for us over the years- we slip first, then the leaders, and while they're not getting any good results we do, so we'll somehow outpace them.

Hopefully against Chievo Juventus will show this!!
