Great action. Brilliant pass from Iaquinta to Tiago who puts the ball inside the box but Amauri was late. Still we win a corner kick.

Minute 44:
We're strongly pressuring but we still suffer creating clear chances.
If we continue this way we'll surely score more goals.

Do you know what impressed me most? We have a system and we use it. That's something we didn't have with Ranieri.

I think if Trezeguet doesn't get minutes tonight, he'll ask to be sold.

    Halftime

We were really good. Great tempo, great control of the match, just a little shaky in defense, where Cannavaro was brilliant, and not very efficient up front.

If we continue this way i can easily imagine a 3:0 or 4:0 win.

My comments on the first half:

We have a system and we know how to use it.
We are so calm when defending and Cannavaro's anticipation has been amazing today, he reminds me of Sammer.
    Amauri is great.
Diego knows how to send the ball to the area. From anywhere on the pitch.

    That's from Andy:

I thought we looked pretty good moving the ball around; with Diego and Tiago working together and Amauri holding up the ball, we have so many weapons to choose from. Already it's obvious that we have more class than we did last year and season prior, so that's good to see. We just need to finish better and improve our flank play on the right. Grygera won't cut it -- we need someone like Rafinha.

The defense was OK in the first half, but fell asleep a few times. I think we can do better back there.

Diego, Tiago and Amauri have been awesome, as well as some traitor in the backline. Poulsen has been OK but is suffering from Sissoko syndrome when he has the ball... perhaps he should fast, I don't know.

I would rather see Trezeguet in there than Iaquinta, however. We need a better finisher.

But overall, I like what I'm seeing in this first match of a new season.
