Probable line-up from gazzetta:

1 Buffon
27 Zebina
21 Thuram
28 Cannavaro
7 Pessotto
16 Camoranesi
8 Emerson
20 Blasi
11 Nedved
9 Ibrahimovic
17 Trezeguet

 If DP doesn't start I'm going to be pissed and I'm sure he will be as well. Had it been him that performed like Trezeguet did last week he would be dropped in an instant, but even though Trez struggled Ale still can't force his way into the line-up. Whatever happened to resting Ibrahimovic?

HEAR HEAR but it's likely ALe will be benched for Hook :(

Naaa Capello should bench DP if Zlatan is fit imo, so we can get the Zlatan - Trez cooperation working. The sooner the better. :undecide:
I expected you to say something like that. Zlatan should start, but why Trezeguet? He isn't even 100% fit and he already played 165 minutes last week. Let DP play FFS. He needs to gain confidence.

Yeah thats right, Capello is a big queer for playing our better players. What a JOKE.
What has Trez done to be better than DP since returning from injury?

Ancelotti: Victory is only option Sunday 23 January, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Milan have no margin for error if they are to take the Scudetto off Juventus, warns Carlo Ancelotti ahead of their tricky trip to Livorno.

“Juve will take the title if they win every single game from here until the end of the season,” noted the Coach.

“If Milan do the same, we will get the Scudetto. These two clubs are in the same position and we’re better off than at this time last year.”

The Rossoneri have closed the gap to just two points and at this moment seem to have the momentum, though the Stadio Picchi is not an easy place to conquer.

“Cristiano Lucarelli is on stunning form and their midfielders can really break forward with pace. It is a tough stadium to play in, but we have to be able to impose our style on any game and any environment.”

It will be a particularly special occasion for Ancelotti, who comes face to face with his former teammate Roberto Donadoni. They are only two of the ‘Grande Milan’ members who went on to management careers, such as Frank Rijkaard, Ruud Gullit and Marco Van Basten.

“It will be a little strange. Donadoni was a great teammate and some are already pinpointing him as my successor here. I’m happy at the San Siro, though everything comes to an end and we’ll see what happens then. Right now, I don’t want to think about it.”

For that same reason, Paolo Maldini hasn’t set a date for his retirement despite celebrating the 20th anniversary of his Serie A debut this week.

“Paolo loves working hard for the good of the team and he is more than capable of taking that left-back role. Jaap Stam can also play on the right when needs be, while Kakha Kaladze is set to return in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia game with Udinese.”

Massimo Ambrosini should step in to the midfield in place of the suspended Andrea Pirlo against Livorno.

Unlike ADP & Zlatan, Trez relies on asists to score tho I like Trez as the point man.

every team must have at least one target man which in our team is Trezeguet or Zalayeta! Ibrahimovich is something like half target man half fantasist so he can play both
DP isn`t as good as a fantasist as Trez is a target man therefore Trez is better for our lineup he may not be that good at dribbling making assists or things like that but when you give him the oppurtunity he will score

Trezeguet 5,58
GdS=5, TS=5.5, CdSp=6, LS=5.5, CdSe=5.5, LR=6

Del Piero 5,25
GdS=5.5, TS=5, CdSp=-, LS=-, CdSe=-, LR=-

:howler:
Found that funny, did ya?

Trezeguet 5,58 in 75 minutes
Del Piero 5,25 in 15 minutes

:howler: Take that!

As you can see I'm not really in for jokes right now :)

Ibrahimovic has excellent target man qualities. His finishing isn't as lethal as Treze's and he isn't that good when it comes to headers, but he wins a very high percentage of the aerial passes that come his way. He can set up DP as we've already witnessed this season and DP can set him up, but with Trez in the line-up Zlatan has to do all of the creating. I prefer the DP-Zlatan partnership because when they play upfront together we have a better chance of having two forwards involved in the game and though Ibra and Ale aren't natural goalscorers like Trez is, they have both netted a good set so far this season.
