i'm not with u guys putting Olivera in as a central mid cause he doesn't ahve the quality of a stopper , & it's not the time to try players cause Milan is 2 pts behind !!
Olivera isn't there as a stopper, he's there to help us score goals (partly to compensate for the loss in attacking power down the left due to Zambrotta's absence). Forgive me for underestimating Brescia, but they're not exactly the hardest team to defend against, and I think it'd be worth attacking them.

I think Zlatan should be rested; Del Piero shouldn't be benched for 2 matches straight. Trezeguet is not 100% yet, so I think it'll be Del Piero - Trez, and Zalayeta will come on for Trez. Del Piero will play 90 minutes :)

Zlatan has had 6 days of break. That's good enough for Capello! :D
Okay, maybe he doesn't exactly need a rest, but we need to get Trezeguet some match fitness and Del Piero some much-needed confidence ;)

I am not sure if that would work.
That's y we need ot try out this formation against a weak team to show the pros and cons of this formation. I know that from the Livorno match that our defence has dropped significantly, but I don't see any harm for Capello to try this formation out again and let him consider if this formation is applicable.

i dont think placing olivera is the key at this moment , i like trying the three man attack.

with neddy rested , i know that hes the most energetic player in midfield but he isnt producing on his potential lately and needs some time off. Alex can play in neddy position, he played there with the azzuri a couple of times.
This is the most balanced formation as we would still have our levrage in the midfield.

Putting olivera in the centre of the field is just too risky, even against brescia, this team can defened very well, dont forget most of these players were coached by mazzone for a long time so they know how to defend and counter. And if olivera didnt produce and we get a goal on us , wat happens then ???complete failure of the tactic.

Del Piero play 90 minutes under Capello? :howler: That's a good one, gray :)

I see Ibra on for Trez and Zala on for DP before the final whistle goes...

Del Piero some much-needed confidence ;)
Capello fvcked that up. Ale did well against Livorno, getting his name back on the scoresheet, but instead of starting him against Cagliari he benches him for a not fully fit David Trezeguet, even though Trez had played 90 minutes in the Coppa three days prior to that match.

So is Capello back to the Rotation system or what?
