The rotation system isn't really set in stone, and any smart manager should play his men who are playing well. It was silly not to play Miccoli tonight, even though there is the rotation system. I'm not saying that any player who hasn't done well should be permanently relegated to the bench, but when someone plays as well as DV did against Real S, I think that should come before the rotation system...

Im not sure why Miccoli didn't take part in the Soceidad match, but I believe it's a physical issue. Miccoli is in good form after recovering from injury, and obviously he has this energy inside of him that would want to burst everytime he gets recalled. If he played for 10 minutes last night then he wouldn't be very eager for the Brescia match, but now I bet he couldn't even wait for the match ...

after his fine performance in real's match.. I think DV will play against brescia..
Well Miccoli had a fine performance against Ancona but was not played yesterday ;) It's not hw they played the previous game, it's how much they played, and DV comes from 2 straight first team games, so if Lippi keeps his current ideas, the next match DV will be reserve so he can play against Milan.

"Del Piero is my favourite Italian player, sometimes I fantasize about playing alongside him".
dpforever is that true. That will explain his skills and his so non english playing style. I learnt from DP when I was just a kid and from Robby.

The perfect score for this match would be 3-1 Juve.

Appiah scores for Juve, and Robi scores for Brescia.

Sorry Guys, it's the Italian in me that wants to see Robi score a goal, especially since the game is on TV in the States and I may never get to see the Great One again:touched:

I have a bad memory of Brescia-Baggio playing at Turin. Remember 3 years ago when we were after Roma? We were winning 1-0 but in the last 5 minutes Baggio scored to crush our Scudetto chances. Imo that was te match we lost the league in.

Anyway I hope for a 3-0 :D

Yes, I read that from a Rooney interview .. it was nice to hear him say that .. I mean Alex is his favourite Italian player, not Baggio, Totti, or Inzaghi

Yes I took that time machine we spoke about, travelled in time and those were the ratings...I forgot to check the actual score though, but judging from the marks I think we must have won around 4-2 :D ;)

League games? Let's see...6 matches from this season and one or two from last season so that makes it 7 or 8 games undefeated.

Actually, it was only 1 game undefeated last season, since we lost against Reggina :frown:

That's 6 + 1 + 3 CL matches = 10. Not bad ;)

I'm hoping for 5-0 like in 2001-2002. 1 for Micco, 1 for Trez, 1 for DV, 1 for Neddy and 1 for Maresca.
