A reunion of sorts at the Stadio Olimpico as Juventus welcome a couple of old friends in Marco De Vaio and Marcelo Zalayeta.

However, it is also a renuion for Juve as well, as all reports indicate that Il Capitano and The Brazilian Bullet will be making their return to the lineups this afternnon

    Oh you're here too. :weee:
No worries then, we're winning 2:0, as we always do when you're here.

Good morning to you. Afternoon for me here. Almost 3pm. :)

    Good day gentlemen.

We have so many reasons to win this match today, and more reasons to win big. It's at these moments where I am used to Juventus losing points and I have a feeling that the ex-Juve duo Di Vaio - Zalayeta might hurt us.

When Zalayeta said he knows how to make a result against Juve I remembered his dives.

    I guess it's

    Buffon
    Zebina-Legrottaglie-Chiellini-Molinaro
    Camoranesi-Melo-Marchisio
    Diego
    Trezeguet-Amauri

Not particularly worried today, Jack. I was actually more concerned with the Livorno match last wekk, as I didn't see anything that could "inspire" them.

The retun of Del Piero and Diego is just the elixir they need to motivate them, as well as preparing for the upcoming crunch match with Bayern Munchkins

    Lighting my pre-match cigar.
Hopefully the boys won't make me smoke 10 more in the meantime before the match ends. :D

Teams like Bologna love to stack two defensive lines behind each other and Diego is just coming back from injury, I am not sure how much he is in match mood.

No Del Piero?? Odd. Very Odd.

At worst, I can see him coming in at Half Time for Amauri. I can see why Ferrara has chosen Amauri over Iaquinta for a couple of reasons.

#1) Despite Iaquinta's form, his constant work rate subjects him to physical meltdowns and bouts of fatigue, so giving him this day off is certainly helpful.

#2) Amauri simply HAS to get untracked. Whether it is bad luck, a split second off in timing, or other outside forces, he needs to get on the scoresheet and do it quickly, or Juve could end up losing him mentally for at least another month

I think another reason for Ferrara to choose Amauri - Trezeguet partnership is to try if Amauri works with another partner up top because it is quite obvious he does not work with Iaquinta.

IIRC last year we played perhaps our best match exactly against Bologna in Turin (together with Juve-Milan, it was imo the best match).

Giovinco was simply brilliant, Salihamidzic was also amazing with one goal and two great assists, and of course, Del Piero was great and scored a brace.
