Not a team.
Loca and McKennie had a simple 10 meter pass to make to an open Nico Gonzalez in Empoli's box, and the pass was just terrible.
:agree: I had you ranked in the top 5 in not letting this just fly over your head. Though Weston does gets plenty of simple passes on target along with more and more not so simple passes on target* as his career has progressed.

*Example: Made the less than 10 meter pass to Koop who went on to brilliantly pass to our #20 for the so important tying goal. And you ask how did that simple pass come about. Well Weston hustled his ass off to neatly take back the ball lost before his simple pass to Koop.

Besides that, without question this wasn't a good performance from him today. Not fully blaming Motta but should have been subbed out by that moment you mentioned.

Missed the game due to work but tbh the highlights are not encouraging.
Vlahovic went alone and scored but he should have really passed the ball.
Kolo's 2nd looks like a fluke.

Didnt look like a great team but I only watched the highlights

We rarely had the game under control. The first half was the same as before.
It was a step in a right direction in terms of confidence and that is always a good thing. Regardless how the goals came about, it was important for Dusan, and the rest too. I thought Yildiz had one of his better games in a while.

Just watched a replay of the game. The score was very flattering. We could have gone 2-0 down and easily conceded an equalizer That said, I like the resilience and the fight on a night where nothing seemed to go right for the first 60 minutes.

For some reason I thought this match was at noon today, so I rushed back home from my ski trip only to find the match completed. So I missed both the match and another day of skiing. I’m such a JJ tard.
If you have Paramount+, you can watch replays- they don’t have any spoilers.

I was planning to do the same, but stupid Youtube showed me the score on my TV’s home screen when I switched it on.

Yeah, it was crazy that he took a shot there when he must have passed to one of the three open Juve players.

it was correct decision to shoot. thuram was offside and as you know this team doesn't practice more than 2 metre passes so he would have missed the other 2 players.

Truth is that it’s just as likely that he could have misplaced the pass/cross or just mistimed it with the movement of the others which might have ended up in a silly offside, therefore going for it in those last minutes while we were already in the lead and with a man up isn’t out of the ordinary, strikers being selfish is no surprise either, even if it’s just as valid that he would have been rightfully crucified had he sent that shot in the stands as many expected it to go and then struggled to keep the lead afterwards, which luckily wasn’t the case.

I've no idea why YouTube highlights shows the results in the video title for Serie A and Premier League games. Would be so much more enjoyable without

His pass is shit, it will go to the keeper or blocked by those defender midway if he really did pass the ball to Thuram, and there is a slight chance for offside too, in hindsight that is the decision that suit him better. Sometimes he just hit his pass like a half shoot and I dont think he can control his power when he pass it

All 3 seem onside too.
I think he doesnt really care about the team and he already knows he is leaving so he acts in his best interest and to score some goals is pretty important if anyone to be interested.
If thats not the case then he is just retarded.

I actually think he benefits by playing alongside Kolo Muani. Kolo can do that dirty work of a CF, strong physically, can outmuscle defenders, play with his back to goal etc which is a big weakness in Vlahovic's game. Maybe we ought to give that a try at some point.

His job is to score goals though. You cannot be mad at at main striker scoring goals. More goals he scored more confidence he gets.

Its for the best but it was really a poor decision.

I think that after this brilliant win, PSV are probably peeing in their pants. We should send them some diapers.
This was a Motta classic just like Allegri vs Spurs.
Alegri must be so jealous.
Well they obviously arent even though we did beat them this year and are the favorite to go through.
