My initial thoughts:

Danilo MOTM
Ronaldo and Ramsey were fairly poor despite scoring
Chiesa was good in the first half but was a shadow after the ankle injury
Frabotta is no Zambrotta
Bonucci is no captain
Arthur and Bentancur should be depth midfielders at best
Bentancur flop of the match
Dybala was not great, I hope the injury isn’t too bad

Am impressed by how hard we make it for ourselves. Annoying match.
3 points is all that matters.

Crucial win. Edge of my seat up until the third goal.

We are sailing forward in spite of having a lot going against us

That second goal  Frabotta pass was actually bad (and the player himself is terrible) and Ramsey's shot was even worse. I'm thinking not to count that goal and assist in the stats thread :agree:
Seriously. Our 2 worst players did everything they could do wrong in that and it still went in.

Sassuolo are a far superior team at playing the football Pirlo would like to play.
I’m not sure if it was down to our unorganised pressing, but the composure they played with from the back and through the middle was seriously impressive.

Banana skin game happy to get the 3 points despite an underwhelming performance. Danilo MoM

Good that we got the points and didn't crumble like we have this season.

Play the kids in the coppa
