I see your point, but I differ on your idea of marchisio's role.
Personally I see him as more of a zanetti mould player.

His passing is usually very good it was just off tonight

but when it came down to the goals, he can easily take the most blame for being out of position.
1st goal:
http://www.d1g.com/video/show/?id=2590535

Molinaro is on the left flank closing down, the ball is played backwards for a deep cross, ball into the area, chiellini and legro are both marking the same man strolling, not even attempting to get to biondini, marchionni cant get to the header. Not molinaros mistake, legro, chiellini and marco equally to blame

2nd goal:
http://www.d1g.com/video/show/?id=2590638

Your right, molinaro is miles out of position, he is partly to blame, but so is legro for not picking up the runner, and chiellini should have read that ball was going into the center.

3rd goal:
http://www.d1g.com/video/show/?id=2590694

Molinaro attacking as he should be, momo gives ball away, moli bombs it back at like 30mph. Chiellini FOOLISHLY runs out of position to close down the guy on the ball, who grygera is already closing down, thus losing Matri, Matri scores with acres of space: Chiellini is to blame without doubt

so no, moli was not the defender most at fault, it was infact chiellini

I think the problem we have is partly mental. Again today, after the loss against Udinese, we should have showed more, we went 2-1 ahead but never took the control in the 2nd half. The team didnt play as a unit, defence was very leaky and we lacked the sparkle. Everyone was just doing their "job". We should be lot more determined. Seriously, we dont look like going for the title. And it doesnt matter if certain players are injured. All clubs have injury problems.

I just cant understand how we looked so clueless today, especially 2nd half. Unfortunately i think scudo is now def gone. No way will Mourinho let this lead slip now.

To win trophy you dont have to play well every match, play ugly, but atleast get the points. We fail to do that.

I strongly disagree. He's no more of Zanetti, very few players in Serie A got Zanetti's vision and ability of reading the game.

Anyway, Marchisio is not a bad passer either, he's improving a lot and I already admire him.

Too bad for our players, our great players, who have to deal with this little bastard Ranieri. Fucking loser.

Jesus Andy you talk some crap at times mixed it with nuggets of knowledge from time to time.

Ranieri is far from a top notch coach but he cannot be blamed for everything like the injuries to zanetti and giorgio tonight or for the limitations of our players, and for some of the basic mistakes made tonight. once the players walk onto the pitch at the start of the match the responsibilty is theirs.

It look like when we had stalked inter successfully and narrowed the gap to be contenders, our players could not handle the pressure and expectation and the comes from been in a close run title race and before it every truely strated we wilted.
I don't give a crap, you fucking twit. If you can't see what is going wrong here, then you need to grow up.

The whole system is not working, so why don't you explain how it is working, you dunce.
