Pirlo tries to knock the ball forwards with his 'hand'?
Mirko Vucinic scores a freekick?
Vidal puts PIRLO 1-to-1 with Frey? Pirlo breaks away faster than Antonelli?

What kind of sick game is this? stop playing that terrible game.

Storari
Licht-Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini
Krasic-Pirlo-Marchisio-Esti
Quag-Vucinic

*Let's give Krasic another chance. We usually do well against Genoa at home, if we can control the game it might be a good chance for him to get some confidence back if he can manage to get involved in attack more.

:edit: did not know Vidal was hurt, Pirlo it is then. Forgot Buffon too. :sergio:

I don't see the point in giving Krasic another go if Juve plan to play in exactly the same fashion.

He'll continue to get lost in the crowd in the middle of the pitch when he moves in to make space for Lichtsteiner to move up.

What do you propose for today, then? AND, what do you propose to do with Krasic?

If we do the 424 with the wingers further up the pitch pressing the outside backs, I think he would be OK. Can't see him doing much else defensively.

*Let's give Pirlo a break today, I would like to see how this CM partnership would work. Two hardworking CMs with complimentary characteristics.
Vidal is injured

Play Pepe, who is still going to work hard and contribute defensively wherever he plays, if Juve keep playing in the same fashion or play Krasic and tell Lichtsteiner to hold back a bit and allow Krasic to stay wide and try to get him one-on-one with the fullback.

I just don't see the point of playing Krasic and employing a tactic that forces him into the crowded centre of the pitch.

So...do you change the tactics a bit to accomodate, or do you think it's time to find another winger? (Thinking long term here)

Damn it:(

Has anyone posted the players called up yet? I haven't seen it.
Gazzetta expects:

Storari

Lichtsteiner-Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini

Pepe-Marchisio-Pirlo-Estigarribia

Matri-Vucinic

Manninger, De Ceglie, Pazienza, Elia, Krasic, Del Piero, Quagliarella

I would change tactics.

It would be different if Krasic was getting out of the way for a fullback who was putting in great crosses, but Lichtsteiner isn't doing that.

So, it seems like then krasic just won't ever be able to adapt to the tactics Conte wants, so what is the point keeping him? If this is the case, or the case being he just isn't upping his game any, why don't we make a move in January or summer for a winger that can give us much more?

No one is really putting in good crosses at the moment, from either side. The only player thus far from the wingers was Giaccherini, but now that he is injured I really hope Esti or Elia step up.

Krasic does not deserve to start. Start Pepe as RW and if everything goes well then give him 20 minutes. I see us winning this easily.
I'd love to see Alex and Quag today. Forza JUVE :)!

I wouldn't consider it a bad move if Juve were to sell Krasic in order to sign a winger of a similar standard, but more suited to how Conte wants to play, provided the transfers fees were sensible, of course.

However, I can't think of many occasions this season when Krasic has been given the ball in area where I thought he should get a cross in, so I wouldn't hold that against him just now.
