The game was played well in terms of determination and control but honestly, despite the numbers - We barely created and we had many chances to create but then we made some wrong choices (Like the insistence on cutting wide and pass it from there (Its ok to cut inside too every now and then...)
Thuram was excellent.

One thing about Locatelli - He was good (Yeah you heard it haters).
He did what he had to and the pass to the assist was actually his IIRC.
Is he world class - Hell no, but lets be realistic we need to change many before we upgrade on him.
I mean A.Costa for now is a doubt until he proves he belong.
Cambiasso is 90% leaving
K.Muani isnt ours and we dont have that lethal finisher (Vlahovic jusr isnt it)
And... CB - Kelly certainly isnt it and we dont know when do we have Bremer and how he comes back from such a serious injury.

Overall good game but I want to see improvement on it and beating Atalanta is a good start.

- - - Updated - - -

If Bremer never got injured we would be top of the league
Honestly - Its a possibility but there is also that weak mentality in which we usually stop playing after scoring a goal so... who knows..

Good win, performance was okay. We had chances which isn't always the case but our finishing was really poor.

Looked like a clear penalty for the handball on Locatelli's shot.

He's been really effective for us when he has played, he should be getting more minutes.
Not sure how that penalty wasn't given tbh

We're not convincing today. Let's see how the team plays against Atalanta. We needed to win a lot of the upcoming games to reduce the 6 point gap but I expect a draw with Atalanta.
Mossad's record against Bergamo Epstein is pretty good

Beat them home and away last season. Should've beaten them at Bergamo this season too.

(Which means a loss/draw is due)

Pretty sure it would have been given should it was a Verona penalty.
VAR are supposed to be unbiased but the introduction of VAR just shared the biased between them and the referee.
Also its funny how thst same incident could be given in another game - VAR are too inconsistent in their decisions

with muricans for an hour: 0-0, so lucky not to concede a screamer, 2 shots on target conceded

without muricans for half an hour: no verona shots on target, 2-0 and a textbook penalty denied

muricans i know you have so many guns and the best guns ever but don't shoot the messenger :snoop:

Whats worrying is the xG stat though, how do u manage to keep it below 2 with 27 shots it's beyond me. We really have to work on shooting.
That will improve because that is in Mottas training regime. Passing, offensive movements, ,mini matches, and shooting. Everything else we'll suck at.

You don't think he would of gained us at least 6 points?

Out of all of the many draws we made due to late equalizers i guarantee he would have prevented them.
defense is not the problem. midfield and attack is which means the coach is. bremer no fix that.

real madrid won cl and league last season missing 5 defenders lol.

H: Atalanta, Genoa, Lecce, Monza, Udinese
A: Fiorentina, Roma, Parma, Bologna, Lazio, Venezia

We might make the top 4. Possibly the round 36 match vs Lazio will decide it. But our away fixtures are very tough and imo scudetto is out of question.
