Motta's post match:

“We did well at the beginning of the game and took the lead, but afterwards we went downhill and conceded a goal where we could have been more aggressive, and could have closed down the attacker quicker. In general we had to be more intense after our goal, we talked about these situations: we wanted to bounce back. we have to press forward not let our opponents advance. Then in the second half we had chances that we were not good at capitalising on. The fans deserve better, they are so kind, we will work harder, the attitude was better today. Now we must look forward and prepare for Atalanta,”

On why he started koop: “I’ve always seen him doing well. I’ve been very happy with him from day one. He always trains at full intensity. He has played different roles, performed well, and continues growing. I’m very satisfied and convinced that everyone can still give more, but I’m happy with Koop’s work so far.”

On locatelli: The midfielders who drop deep help us stay balanced, Locatelli knows how to do it with the right timing. Our forwards have the ability to hurt opponents. Nico possesses fantastic technical qualities, he is fit and allows us to rotate Yildiz who is still learning.

We won a few in Serie A yet now the manager is under fire more than ever. With a win we go close to Atalanta. Failure to win means we could go down to 5th place.
We havent got a draw in Serie A for a while now so a draw is coming
