honestly i find these news a little funny, especially after allegri specifically mentioned that rabiot plays better in a double pivot than as a mezzala, without speaking of him as a winger:

It’s actually a good base to build on from here until the end of the season. And if we can make some upgrades in January too…

McBurgers will slot in better there when he comes back. Locatelli more controlled and calm in possession dictating the play, with McKennie making runs forward and trying to join the attack when possible.

Im thinking our mid is so weak it might be the right thing to skip it. I dont like the 4-2-3-1 formation as I think the mid is not getting the needed cover but in our case I think it would be for the best.
