so happy that Napoli dropped 5!!! pts over their 2 tough games. i was honestly expecting them to win at least 1 of the 2. Time to make it +4 on Wednesday
I fully expected them to drop vs Inter away but Roma at home I expected them to at least get a draw...
Anyway the championship is going exactly as I expected it to go..
We started slow and let Napoli take over -> We put our leg on the gas and put pressure on Napoli -> Napoli try to handle the pressure and are successful on the short term -> Napoli tremble and Juve take the leadership
Now the prediction for the end is - We continue to win and pile more pressure on Napoli which make them lose faith and lose more points-> We lose some points ourselves but still maintain a nice lead -> We end up as champions (Similar to the season in which Higuain got 36 goals...)

Yep. It seems napoli is not resilent enough to withstand the pressure.

And sarris words says it all. Thei will show the white flag soon.

Juventus is one of the most resilent teams in europe, let alone serie A. If they do not have the mental and physical quality to match us, they will buckle like they do every year.

And imo we are not even playing to our true potential. Because of injuries and teamselecion issues. If we did, we would have steamrolled them all long time ago.

Like i said in another thread, juventus is a team too well managed for the rest of the serie a whiners. If we didnt had the injury issues, this season would have been ridiculous. They had one chance to get us and now they are wasting it.

Next 2 games are absolutely crucial IMO from a psychological standpoint. We cannot drop the pressure on Napoli. There's also a slim chance that they slip up again this weekend and if we can go into the break (8 games left) with a 6-7 pt lead, I think that might just be the cushion required to guarantee the title

Juve vs Atalanta followed by Barca vs Chelsea

Inside the NBA with C-Webb and Shaq before that. Skip work on Thursday morning :baus:
Well yesterday`s games went a bit in our favor as I wanted to see Sevilla going past Man Utd although I think I rather see Shakhtar going through but it was more like a 50-50 for me...
Today is much easier as we want Juve to beat Atalanta and Chelsea to somehow surprise Barcelona (although a 4-0 Barca win is much more likely than Barca even drawing at home...)
I have a friend that each time he comes over to watch a game Juve win - I told him that if we get to the final again he is coming over to watch (I also have another friend who is the exact opposite - not going to invite him to the final this time...)

Just looked at our fixture list and on paper we shouldnt lose points at least until April 22nd when we meet Napoli - Prior games should be wins with Milan the only "big name club" in our fixture and its a home game..

Barca are unlikely to botch it at home. We aren't likely to lose points, but Milan and Samp are no pushovers; in fact, our game with Atalanta tonight is also quite a tough fixture. As for CL finals, I think it has more to do with us and our mentality in those one off games; I stopped "blaming" my friends a long time ago :)

Should be a relatively easy game.

Our defense is solid and Piggy, Dybala and Costa are all in good form.

If we don't win tonite, lel.
