Complacent people deserve to go to the gas chambers.
LOL you don't sound like a Democrat andy:D

I agree though on your past post, we need to start thinking about next years CL. The way we are dropping points, we need to secure a Top 3 finish...hit the transfer market heavily this summer...I MEAN HEAVY.

Did anyone see Blancs/Cobgli's faces after the Sampadoria goal...hopefully that woke them to the reality of our defense...what if we lose Chiellini next year to a long term injury...it will be a repeat of this year. We need another TOP class CB, that would be much more manageable should Chiellini get hurt and we dont succeed in improving the quality of our outside backs. We need some orchestrators in the middle that can direct/guide the outside backs.

Has anyone read Ranieri's post-match comments?It's the same old 'hush-baby-don't-u-cry-dadda's-goin-2-get-u-candy-n-everything-will-b-alright'...Sometime's u need 2 smack d baby upside the head n go 'shut-the-f***-up-brat'!...

That's my problem with Ranieri...He's a nice guy n all...but that grinta?...I don't see it in him

Only thing weird was that Ranieri made a substitute in 89th minute when we're chasing other than that I thought he did a decent job. Apart from that one freekick I thought DP offered pretty much nothing. We played well in general and created chances but when you cross 4987 times and one of them catches our players head you really need to consider if it's worth even trying. Had we had 2 fullbacks who can cross than it would've been something like 5-1. It's amazing how we manage to fuck-up the offsidetrap in every single match, as Doria had absolutely no chances apart from the goal (Cassanos post was a deflection).

@andy-past events form future trends, so in the past ranieri has been an imbecile and a loser, so he always will be,therefore regardless of how the team plays we will have to criticize him? for once i have to say that the finger of blame should be aimed at the players instead of Ranieri today, now this could mean that the players have lost their respect for the man and are not performing 100%, if this is the case then he is "dead man walking" once again

@tpan- get a grip f yourself and grow up,nobody is much a fan of Ranieri but for once it is not his fault we dropped points, calling anybody who doesn't agree with you childish names only serves to undermine your arguement

now that i have that out of the way-

once again our full backs have shown that if we are spending money this summer, then a quality LB and a quality Rb simply MUST be our priority, we could then look at strengthening midfield with either a LM or a playmaker. right now our system depends on the full backs aiding the attack with balls into the box and that is just not happening. we are too predictable, very one-dimensional, very easy to shut out and easily countered.

the scudetto has gone, if we were ever serious contenders! but there is the making of a good team there, what we lack is quality in vital areas and someone who will create for our forwards

We certainly did not look like we were going for the tie today my man. We had the winning mentality for like 85-90% of the match, it was just the first 9 mins at the start we looked dull. I agree though in saying I would like CR to say in a press conference that 1 point is completely unacceptable, he needs to do a better job of holding his team accountable, especially the defense.
Perhaps compared to the last couple of games in which we were incredibly dull. But I felt we were only truly fighting for the victory once we had equalized up until ten minutes from the end or so. Of course it's not easy to keep a team under constant pressure for 30 minutes though. I guess we need to stop conceding goals like that. It'd be nice to get a couple of easy wins for a change.

And once again Ranieri is 'pleased with the point': http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/feb15j.html
