mckennie :baus:

we still have to beat bologna of course, but one of the downsides of the mercato is the lack of a real upgrade in midfield. mckennie starting is underwhelming

I initially just read this part and thought right away that Mckennie is gonna play(flop around) as RWB in Weah’s place… but then i went on to read everything and seen the graphic with Weah still in his place and i relaxed for a bit, then again i also realised that we are planning to start Mckennie as CM in our first official game at home this season lol

It’s not like we don’t have better CM options, just that both Fagioli and Pogba who should be there are not yet fully fit to start, although i’d obviously also rather hand Miretti or Hans the start instead of Mckennie.

Then thinking even more about it, the choice must be a tactical one, probably betting on the physicality and cover that Mckennie can offer through his understanding with Weah on that side of the pitch, which might just about work in our favor.

Call me crazy, but we should be after Verratti. He is not going to Saudis, but close to Galatasaray now.

Is massive upgrade over Mckennie, since we can move up Locatelli to CM and put Verratti in holding mid role.

Transfer fee should be negligible because PSG wants to get rid (if we lucky they might trade him for Pogba lol). Salary would be whole another issue tho. But he could be Pirlo type signing for us

Go away with your love for Verratti and Zaniolo! :p

My hope will never die lol.

Verratti is same age as Pogba, crazy, thought he would be a bit older, and defenitely positionally more of a need. So hope we pounce on the last chance to get him.

Pogba is available.

I will believe that when I see it, for 3 games in a row atleast.

the only massive reason i don't want him is this: https://www.transfermarkt.com/marco-verratti/verletzungen/spieler/102558

pirlo never had so many injuries throughout his whole career than this guy in the last few years. add jmedical to the equation and he's an other pogba

was mikel merino linked with any club? i wonder why half of europe isn't after him, he looks like a complete package

That's true, J medical part of his history is not ideal combo. Tho in his case it was seldom a big injury, just minor ones. And barely missed games for injury last season (more of suspensions lol).

He seems physically more available then Pogba, who is nearing long term cripple status with how unreliable his physical health is currently.

Mikel Merino has not been rumoured to anyone, which is really odd, he is defenitely ready for a big club. I assumed he would been Busquets replacement for Barca, but they too broke to get him.

Allegri recap: #JuveBologna

- Kean has never been out of the squad
- Pogba is 100% back and could play tomorrow
- Tek is OUT, he took a knock in training
- I have two training doubts, i'll decide tomorrow
- Bonucci knows the situation, Juve have been clear
- We've lowered the age of the squad, we need to run a lot
- Regrets on not going to Saudi? Absolutely not
- The squad? We knew we wouldn't be too active on the market
- Lukaku? I'm happy with my strikers
- Yildiz is a great prospect

Weah-Fagioli-Locatelli-Rabiot-Cambiaso
Vlahovic-Chiesa

[@DiMarzio]

too bad it’s di Marzio. Good lineup outside Sandro

Allegri said that he has only two doubts for tomorrow, one in midfield and one on the wings. The midfield one is probably Fagioli/Miretti/McKennie, but what about the wing? Weah or McKennie?
I don't think that he'll put Cambiaso on the right, Kostic on the left.

I think he’ll start Fagioli in midfield and McKennie as RWB.

Allegri loves that fat American goofball.
