Whenever Momo and Zanetti have played together they haven't really performed well by any stretch of the imagination.

Sissoko and Zanetti played together only on 5 matches.

I think i said the same thing to another guy here few days ago, but you're wrong to say that it doesn't work.
The partnership didn't seem to work at the beginning of 2008, during Sissoko's first days in Juve, but it was working much better afterwards.

Due to the two defeats when these two played their first matches together in the center (Reggina 1:2, Fiorentina 2:3), people started saying that this partnership doesn't work, and it seems like this was stuck in their heads and they keep repeating it, ignoring the fact that we've been brilliant with Momo-Zanetti after those two defeats.
After the initial defeats these two played together on the matches against Genoa (2:0) Atalanta (4:0) and Lazio (5:2).

I won't claim that it's a magical partnership, but it's not fair at all to say that whenever they played together it didn't work. Not only that it's not fair, but it's also not true.

I forgot Siena-Juve 1:0. I didn't watch that match and i forgot to mention it in my previous post.
That was the 36th round and we lost it. We didn't need pts though because we had the 3rd place secured.
But the main point still stands.

Try to get a keeper of Manninger's quality today, and see how much it costs, plus you have to convince him to be a back up for the best keeper in the world! look at it from that view.

I never said anything about Manninger.In fact,I think he's good.I just said Momo and Amauri to point out that our transfer market wasn't that bad.
