I live in Compiègne and go to university there. I am not a Frenchie though. I arrived in France back in 2002, because I wanted to get out of Zambia. As most of you know, the living conditions in my beautiful country are poor. One can't even find decent baguettes over there.

Luckily this is not the case in France and because of this I have gained a lot of weight, so that I now look like a fat Ronaldo.

Isn't it a little unortodox for a Zambian to study in France? I mean English is the official language of Zambia and most of the lucky Zambians who leave the country continue their studies in the English speaking countries?

Or was the French food the main factor when you chose your new home?
