what was juve formation in this match?
We dont exactly have a set formation though, when attacking its a 4-3-1-2, when defending its a 3 5 2. There is no set formation that we go by. we started with a 4-3-1-2 switched to a 4-3-3 when allegri brought on Pepe and Llorente(forward) and finished with the a 3-5-2 when he brought on Barzagli(defender)

We started with 4-3-1-2, then with Llorente and Pepe it turned into a 4-3-3 and switched to 3-5-2 after Barza came in.

Zaza and Berardi were meh. They ran a lot though, pressured our backline a lot together with Sansone, but they didnt create anything.

Vrsaljko did good.

and what about zaza, vrajdjsdjirereeleskjo, berardi...how did they play?
Zaza done nothing other than dive, hit the ball with his hand, and complain at our players and the ref, Berardi barely touched the ball, looks out of sorts and had one shot at goal that went about 30m over. As Garfield correctly pointed out, they both (along with Sansone) did a decent job of pressing our backbone in the first half. But not much else.

Vrsaljko was Sassuolo's best player IMO. Very solid defensively, quick and is a great crosser (but didn't show it as much in this game)....he does dive a lot though.

Don't bother watching the first half, one of the most boring and lacklustre halves of football you're likely to watch this season. Second half was a bit better, but still nothing spectacular. We battled to grind out a very tight victory.

Oh and Barzagli made a late cameo at the end

Actually I thought Zaza was great out there. His marking and high pressure was a big component of why we weren't able to play our game. He was let down by his colleagues in the Sassuolo offense, however. Berardi was almost invisible and Sansone even more so.

Zaza fought very well, he reminded me of Vieri a little. He even managed to create a couple of chances out of nothing. If he can keep it up, he'll make a great addition to Juve next year.

That was ugly, like really ugly.

We changed three formations, created very little in front of their goal and won only thanks to Pogba magic.

If we continue playing like this may in-form Pogba, referee and luck be with us against Dortmund. Otherwise we're getting fucked.
