I think his arrival has been massive and has turned things around for sure, but I’ve also noticed that it feels like the Napoli loss, we’ve learned to suffer and sit back more and play on the counter if needed. The players also seem to have regained some of that old win at all costs mentality that we’ve missed all season.
I still don’t like his subs and some of his starting lineups lately tho. But 4 wins in a row no matter the opponent is amazing.
This could all be a huge jinx by me and we could get knocked out by PSV and then drop points against Cagliari and Verona next, but something feels different this time.

Just in the 2nd half:
-57' after corner, Mkhitaryan completely unmarked at the pen box line, miskicks the ball, it reaches unmarked Pavard in the box (fails to control)
-59' Tahremi wastes 3vs2 counter
-62' Zalewski moves past Gatti in the box but hesitates to shoot in good position
-63' Zalewski moves past Gatti on the left wing and crosses the ball to unmarked Lautaro in the box, he fails to volley
-68' Thuram moves past Veiga (foul?), Dumfries shoots, Di Gregorio parries shot and it hits the post. Had this gone in good luck trusting VAR.
-84' Zalewski moves past Weah, crosses, unmarked Thuram misses a header just in front of the goal
-85' Barella makes a long pass to Thuram, basically moving him to 1vs1 with Di Gregoria, Thuram fails to control
-90' Thuram wastes 3vs2 counter
So yeah, we played better in the 2nd half but still, Inda were very wasteful and we gave them a lot of chances.

The distances between the defense and the midfield and subsequently the forwards have been much less. Veiga has helped with this as has playing Weah at right back and him hitting some form. Not playing Koop in the 10 has given us more verticality as well. There is still a lot to work on but we are playing the ball quicker and looking more vertically, it also helps with our press. Kolo Muani having pace to break lines doesn't allow their backline to push as far forward as well.
We need to continue, there are still issues but it's encouraging to see progress finally.

Watched the game obviously and watched the highlights a few times.
Kolo Muani should have really passed to unmarked N.G at the start but we cant expect him to be perfect all the time..
That Kolo Muani assist was hustling 4 Inter players which was simply brilliant.
Our defense despite not conceding wasnt that great. Inter had a few clear chances which they failed to finish. We were very lucky.
Our 2nd half game was probably the best half we had in terms of hunger and determination for some years now.
D.G had some great saves but was also lucky it went relatively to the center.
P.S I thought Koop played a really good game. Was also denied a great goal.

I agree with both of you in that Kolo's arrival has changed the way that we play because of having a more reliable CF who has arguably won us three of these four games. He dragged us back into the Empoli game by himself, kicked us off against Como with another solo goal and created Connie's goal yesterday through individual skill. The Empoli one in particular smelled very familiar up until his goal so you could definitely say that he's the spark that has set us off on a good run.
Baus is right that this run of form feels different. It looks like we're actually able to carry form from one game into the next. Not just Kolo but Di Gregorio, Weah and McKennie (who tbf has been consistent all season) have all stepped up their performances while Luiz finally played some decent football and Veiga has been a very welcome surprise. We've had huge performances this season (Leipzig holy shit) but it's never carried over even a little.

But it does look like we're finally hitting form at the business end. Muani has been instrumental but perhaps there is also something else behind the scenes. Motta is still fucking about with player selection and it hasn't impeded the results. The form has been ropey at times and we're probably lucky to have these four wins but the important part is the hard work and teamwork is there. That's what I watch Juventus for.
