Rugani did well. At times De Ligt was the shakier of the duo.
Okay but never seen so many back passes to the goalie like with Juve from their CBs. I don't know formations well but how can Max can stop from being pressed so easily without being able to go forward. It's so frustrating watching it happen with even the low level league teams.

You want the CBs to dribble their man? That's a certain recipe for disaster.

No I know that but we can't press anyone and we always get pressed. You keep screwing around with those passes to the goalie and I think bad shit will happen too eventually.

fact is we fucking won and kept a clean sheet with fucking Rugani
Rugani and 45 mins of Pellegrini. Really didn't see that happening.

Not a great match, we really lacked any creativity and was always going to come down to a moment of brilliance or mistake. Fortunately we have a few players capable of creating a chance out of nothing.

The people that are upset at the performance have not come to terms with the lack of ability in a majority of our players.

Personally I was pleased with the desire and intensity in closing down pretty much all game. We had a clear shape and worked like dogs showing a level of humility and I’d say that even if it ended 0-0.
For now until maybe the summer we will struggle to penetrate teams, create chances and play out under pressure.

Texas boy MOTM.
And we f’ing kept a clean sheet against a free scoring side with Ruru in the team.

I'm more upset at Allegri playing with Rabiot on the left, and making no subs (bar Pellegrini apparently becauseof AS injury) until 80th minute. That's Unacceptable.

milkenovic got the red card otherwise both the managers were settling for a draw thankfully we got the clean sheet with key defenders missing

Agreed, Milenkovic’s idiocy was a huge reason that this didn’t end up a dead rubber, we didn’t even look like we were a man up after his dismissal though.
