Its all mental imo. In CL they're fully locked in because of the stage. In league play they have too many mental lapses.
Also Allegri plays his strongest team in champions league Locatelli and McKennie were rested against hellas and Chiesa was injured

Forget about the previous years. What the hell has he done this year other than logging zero goals and zero assists and literally doing nothing? He's so bad even Allegri keeps subbing him.
Zero assists? He was the one who provided that amazing pass to Chiesa against Chelsea. He also got an assist against Zenit the other day. He’s no offensive powerhouse, but he has been making good runs and passes this season and his defensive contribution is very good.

Like I said, he has been decent under Allegri, nothing special, but still a lot better than he was under Sarri and Pirlo.

But the main thing is, he always pushes the ball forward. He wont pass it back to AS or Locatelli, he will drive forward and try to create things

Look at when he gets the ball, especially in our half. He plays with the right mentality and is technically and tactically good enough to fit in o either flank with guys like Chiesa and Dybala infront of him

Berna is better at LM than Rabiot. Thats the only conclusion we can make on this. Hopefully Allegri has noticed this as well, after his expensive A/B testing.

reading allegri's comments it's safe to assume rabiot is our of the starting lineup until he gets his shit together
