5 yellows equals a suspension i believe.
No, it's 4 yellow cards.
Sissoko actually has 6 yellow cards. 4 of them on 4 different matches while 2 on the same match against Palermo. Since the second yellow card against Palermo meant a red card, that yellow is counted as a red card.
In short, the cards he got against Palermo don't count anymore, but he has 4 other YC's from the other matches and that's why he's suspended.

still doesnt make sense to me. If that yellow is counted as a red card hes got 4 yellow plus one from Palermo plus one against Lazio, thats 6 YC..??
Read Alen's post again. The yellow card(s) he got against Palermo don't count, and he had 3 yellow cards before Lazio, so that's 4.

Since Momo scored the overhead kick goal against Fiorentina he always is suspended when we face them.I smell a new calciopoli.
Me too. They probably knew that we'll get Fiorentina as our 1st round opponents in 2008/09 and that's why the ref gave him a red card on last season's last round match :D

I know you were kidding, but knowing these forum members i can't help thinking that one particular member would've taken you seriously.

Juve felled by flu epidemic
Tuesday 20 January, 2009
Juventus have a crisis on their hands after Gianluigi Buffon's flu spread to both substitute goalkeepers, Tiago Mendes and Olof Mellberg.

The World Cup winning goalkeeper was meant to make his Serie A comeback last Sunday against Lazio, but was ruled out on Saturday evening by a bout of flu.

Now Buffon's illness has spread throughout the team and Coach Claudio Ranieri has very limited options for next week's crunch match with Fiorentina.

Worryingly, substitute goalkeeper Alex Manninger is one of those hit by the virus and third choice Antonio Chimenti has preliminary symptoms, so Juve could well be without all three shot-stoppers.

The only alternative would be to throw in youth team goalkeeper Timothy Nocchi for his Serie A debut from the start. Nocchi will not turn 19 until July.

Mellberg has also come down with the flu, increasing an injury crisis in defence that has Giorgio Chiellini a major doubt along with Hasan Salihamidzic, Jonathan Zebina, Dario Knezevic, Vincenzo Iaquinta, David Trezeguet and Mauro Camoranesi.

Momo Sissoko and Cristian Molinaro are suspended, so the Bianconeri are in dire straits just as they have closed the gap at the top of the table to three points.
