We can see how taht worked out, at least with diego we had someone who asked the ball and tried something, when he was subbed our main attacker became chielini. And I have not seen any crosses from zebina, in fact i have not even seen him touch the ball. I don't think it was a smart sub.
it was a few minutes from full time ... there was nothing to do anyways ..

it could also be that zacch just wanted to give a few minutes to zebina so he gets his appearance bonus ^^

And yet Inter are leading Serie A with it and also beat Chelsea with it.

A formation isn't good or bad, each one has its pros and cons.
Sign be two new strikers, a deep lying midfielder, a box to box midfielder, two new fullbacks and I'll let you play 4-3-1-2 any day.

I really think this was inevitable. A new coach usually brings immediate, positive results where the team is greater than the sum of their parts. Then, the team reverts to type. In our case it's because our problems will take many new players and months to solve.

A trully pathetic 2nd half played out by a class A crop of cowards (not including chiellini).

Firstly, yet again our defence has showed how pathetic they are. Palermo threatened them whenever they wanted to. De ceglie needs to learn how to get his cross past the first man and grygera just needs to learn football.

Secondly this 4-3-1-2 doesn't work. It's proved all season that it's piss easy to breakdown and doesn't suit the strengths of our players. Our attackers are too slow and old to play the ball along the floor as that involves moving into space. the ultimate problem we have is our attackers are dangerous when the ball is played down the wings and crossed in - but we have no wingers.... SMART

Thirdly we should stop trying to build this team around Diego. He's so awkward to fit into a lineup that the team is suffering as a result. He's not justified this tactic change at all. Its about time he started fitting into the way we play. We have to just go back to the plain old boring 4-4-2 and put the guy on the wing, either like nedved used to, cutting inside or stick him in the centre next to one of the big lads..

I cant be bothered to write anymore but the list goes on and on

Quote me: No way we're ending in top 4.

Just think about it, look at our schedule, watch us play and you'll come to the same conclusion.

Napoli, Palermo and Sampdoria won't fuck up as much as we will. We simply aren't good enough.
Unless all our injured players come back in the next week and we have a full squad until the end of the season I agree, but then that is a fairytale.

Last week, I and Andy were given shit for saying that our wins were more of Del Piero's doing, rather than Zac's doing. Surprise, surprise, Del Piero didn't play well today and we lost.

Still, I won't bash Zac, because I still think it's due to the simple fact that our team is just not good enough. As Alen said, we have too much muscle and too few footballers, and there are only a handful of coaches in the world who could use that to our advantage.

On a different note, I don't understand what has happened to Grygera during the time with us. I remember him as a decent RB for the Czech NT at the time we bought him, but for some reason, he has became utter shit.
