The lost points are on Thiago Motta.
Please stop this dumb experiment with the next gen players. Keep Kenan and send the others back to the youth team. Play your best players and stop tinkering.

That's not entirely true because Savona had a good game and played 95 minutes.

Of the kids only Mbangula was dissapointing this game. But so was Cambiaso, Vlahovic, Fagioli etc. And neither are next gen players.

But I get your point because with stronger starting 11 we could won this game. If conceição and Luiz started in particular. They opened up the game.

Well if they're all fit we need to get the new boys into the starting XI ASAP

Can't be starting these big games with whatever the hell that first XI was. That team on paper would get dumped out of the ECL by a Serbian team

Underwhelming, credit to Roma for putting enough players in the final third, and for that we couldn't find solutions. I think Motta knows where it went wrong. He showed balls in putting on the players that could change the match but in reality we were either too close to each other, too far or just not able to play the right pass. It's kinda expected, with a new squad, for now we can only learn.

Disappointing result and performance. We didn't find a rhythm all game and looked forced/anxious when attacking.

Motta's Bologna had these performances last season where they didn't create and he will need to find a solution here where teams set out to knock out your rhythm.

I can see why he kept the faith in the young players, particularly Mbangula. I thought Savona had a good game. But the lack of distribution from the back held us back in the first half. Cambiaso instead of Savona to would have helped with that and would have freed up a space for one of the new attackers.

The first real test of the season. We werent up to the challenge. Poor game overall. With int break coming up, hopefully players like Koop and DL regain fitness. These guys need to start matches. Fagioli and Mbangula can play against the likes of Como or Verona. Patience will be needed until this team gells. We might see more bumps along the road. I guess its gonna get worse before it gets better.
Cabal, Fagioli, Mbangula very poor
Cambiasso annoying
Yildiz decent
Dusan not enough service tonight
DL and Koop cant rate, potential is there but look rusty.
Loca decent
