If we scored that deflection goal and Bonucci's chance that hit the crossbar, we would've been praising the performance right now.

We were just unlucky and Marchetti was insane.

Rumours circling around Turin state that Buffon read four books, three daily newspapers and an encyclopedia during the match tonight. Rumours haven't been confirmed as of yet though.

We looked clueless upfront and it's not Marchetti's fault we didn't win. We lacked Pirlo the most and tbh Vidal was better as regista than Pogba. Quag looked like he was lost and Gio just failed. I wouldn't blame him too much as our wingers and Marchisio looked even more poor. Our subs were really bad, Pepe's crosses suck. Matri and Bendtner are bad, especially the latter.

Without Pirlo we should have be better with corners and feekicks as well as from the wings. In both we were clueless today so no win for us.
.
Hoe exactly would you want us to press more? Did you honestly sit and watch the game? or did you just look at the score line and look at the end of game stats? Im honestly asking because saying we lacked intensity is a seriously stupid comment.

my thoughts...We lacked scoring once again but nothing new so im not going to get mad because i dont expect anything else. Its all Marotta's, Conte's, Agnelli Nedved etc.. or whoever decides what players come into the fold because its seriously trouble sum not having this player. Of course we cant say this player would of won us the game but its honestly disheartening seeing chance after chance either go wide or a flubbed shot. If we arnt going to score we damn well make the goalie work for the save like the chance gio and marchisio got on net.

Vidal showed exactly why we love him today. Asa had a less then par performance upfront but say to yourself if not asa then who? Licht on the right before Isla came was a automatic stater and we never expected him to score or create from outwide so why are we so anal about asa providing chance after chance? Hes a middle player and needs time to adjust which involves better crosses, better cutback passes etc...

This team is Pirlo dependent but thats because this teams build around him and his distribution. If pirlo retired and say Pogba took his place and MVPogba was out mid then the team would have to be re shaped and tactics would have to slightly change. Pogba did ok i think in distributing more then half his long balls found targets in good positions and for 19 years old new country new team and being put in to replace pirlo is no easy task

I hate Conte's obssession with 3-5-2 sometimes. Lazio didn't want to attack, the came here for a draw and everyone could see that. Why do we play 3-5-2 when we need to score and have no Pirlo and Vucinic on the field :sergio: Both Asamoah and Isla needed more help on the wings. Also we should have press them more to win. We have no intensity with 3-5-2 whatsoever

Sure That was lazios gameplan, but still we should shoot more and try playing through the middle.

We arent not used to playing without Pirlo, so players were confounded who does what when we came nearer to final third, Bonucci made some very good long balls several times, and then Pogba at times too, but generally it became too much about going to Asamoahs wing. Slowed down momentum too often. And we cant underestimate the fantastic defensive organisation of Lazio this game.

Ok, a draw. Today i dont even care that much. Lazio are a very good team and thats that. The most important thing is that no injuries happened. We will have a fully fit squad, rested Pirlo, Vidal in-form and Pepe returned showing promising signs. Lets focus on Chelsea now, go all out on them. Thats the thing when you are on top and playing good, you can afford a draw from time to time. FORZA JUVE!!!

that too. Even though we created chances that should of ended it early, Lazio did well on defence and did what they had to to get a share of the points. I cant blame asa or pepe or isla because our strikers had the necessary chances to win this game

was always going to be a difficult match.

I liked how we pressed the shit out of them from 25-30 mins onwards, we didn't wait and bide our time and let the game drift away.

poor finishing and Marchetti insane performance.

Nothing can be said about this match, we did all we could without having our brain on the field. It becomes even more difficult when the opposing team does not want to play. Lazio did well to stop our plays and to let the clock tick away having a keeper playing the match of his life and Ledesma organizing their lines and keeping the players on their toes the entire match.

I admired above all the mindset that we played with the entire 90 minutes bar 5 to 10 minutes in the first half where we looked somehow sloppy. We played in the same aggression like we did against Nordsjælland and Pescara and it seems that our game has reached a proper level now.

We are ready to face Chelsea and do what it requires to win the match.

Buffon 6.5

Barzagli 7.5
Bonucci 7
Chiellini 7

Isla 6.5
Vidal 7.5
Pogba 6
Marchisio 7
Asamoah 6.5

Giovinco 6.5
Quagliarella 6

Matri 6
Pepe 6.5
Bendtner N.R
A good positive and accurate review.
Lazio was super lucky to not leave the stadium with 2 goals against.

Let's see what we can do against chelsea.

2 points dropped at home. That's what looks worse. Wouldn't mind if it were at the olimpico as much. We were unlucky tonight, this shitt happens during the season. Can't have biased refs all the time ;). Marchetti was awesome that's why Buffon praises him so highly. Giovinco is not for us. Couldn't care less what the fuq others would say. Hrs out of his depth with us.

Agree, lazio was Good, and we werent bad either. But if we are gonna cross for 90, might as well play Bendtner and matri.

Iv always kept faith in Gio but really paid attention to him today. He loses the ball because from what i saw and I may be wrong but he does turn and maneuvers with the ball when passed to him and he loses it in his own feet. He continuously losses and gets pushed off when coming back to the ball to receive a ball. Yes he does those nice flicks and cut backs once in awhile but its not enough. He was never a goal scorer and trying to rely on him to do that not only hurts us but him as well. We dont need another forward who creates because frankly Vucinic has that role. I dont think he'd be the forward who goes if we bought another forward but he could be put into a deal if that is a player the other team needs. Wait and see but I dont see a long and successful career for Gio at Juve.
