(I know its a little bit early, but I couldn't wait any longer :p)

Its less than a couple of hours away. The Derby d'Italia is always an exciting match regardless of the position we are in. Given the backdrop of Calciopoli II (or Morattopoli if you like) makes it even more exciting. The chance to take points off Inter and screw their title hopes makes it even sweeter. Lets hope tonight we see the tongue out, the chest thumping with a dose of crunching tackles and superhuman saves.

Those who do not have this match on TV, are stuck in traffic, on board a train or attending a meaningless Friday afternoon status meeting can follow the match here.

A little pre-match entertainment is always a nice thing. Can I suggest you guys listen to the new chart topping single by our resident Merda-SuperHater Albertmare? If you don't know the lyrics here it is...

    L'interista chiacchierone
    sogna sotto l'ombrellone
    tricolore coppe varie
ma a settembre il campionato inizierà
    e come l'anno scorso
    e come l'anno prima
    il nostro chiacchierone
    continuerà a sognare
    quel tricolore che non vincerà!!

    Per sempre ti odierò
    in tutte le città
    ci sentirai cantar
    questa canzone...
    inter, quanto ti odio
    inter, quanto ti odio
    inter, quanto ti odio

Too bad we won't be having fans at the San Siro. But lets show them that fans or not, Juventus will always be better than Inter.

(I'm off to get some dinner. Be back in a few. I heard JBF would be out for the match, so unless Sabet or Alen decides to help us, it might be only the two of us.)

Hey Guys. I will not be able to join you in the banana throwing festivities, but I know that if Sab is here on the scene, than the thread is in good hands.

As for the rest of you................................pffftt.

don't blow it Ice and Blondu. Commenting on a Juve-Cagliari match is one thing, but this is the big time now, so make me proud.

    Or I'll fucking kill you

So we will play with 2 men (diego and il capitano) behind iaquinta. What do you think icey? Imo it is the best way to have both our trequartista over there, the thing is iaquinta didn't showed anything in the last match. Amauri or Trez would've been my pick.

The movement Iaquinta offers up front will be useful. My biggest worry is whether the lack of match fitness of Diego will show. Lets hope the pressure of the derby brings out the best in him.

If we have to get anything out of this game, Chiellini and Buffon will have to be on the top of their game. Three men upfront against Cannavaro, Zebina and Grosso is frightening.

The absence of Candreva is intriguing. He doesn't even make the bench for a second match in a row. I don't remember reading that he is injured. Blondu, do you have an update on this?

i don't know an official reason behind this. He was called in the first 22's who went to milano but now he's out (maybe an easy injury or a tactical decision made by zacherroni)

If it is a tactical decision, then I have to say its pretty ridiculous. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the ass later.
