No need to be a sh*t bloke, or should I say, a sh*t @Lion... With all respect to you though I had no idea he won the capocannoniere in 2006, pardon my ignorance.
It's probably more his age, I think many people though (with much justification) that he was finished and washed up by the time he got here, what he's done at Verona in the last two seasons is nothing short of a miracle by any logical football measure.
Obviously I'm a bloody Juventus supporter; however it is no different to how people might follow F1 for example. I've followed Ferrari for as long as I can remember and would never support another team over them as long as I live, but like a great many I grew up with to Schumacher and loved watching him race, and being able to see him come back at 40, even though he drove for Merc, was someone I would always support and who I'd hope would do well every race. You can like a driver/player concurrent with supporting a team; me liking Baggio, Bobo, Toni, De Rossi, Raul, Xabi Alonso, Lahm, Schwienstager or Klose do well in football is no different to me liking Verstappen (Snr or Jnr), Alesi, Webber, Ralf, Barrichello, Fisichella, Coulthard, Hakkinen, Bottas or Kmag do well in F1.
