There is no one player that is going to act as a savior. At this point, it's about damage mitigation and forming a somewhat cohesive unit until several market moves can be made, probably over multiple windows.
We could have conceeded a third goal today even more easily than we ever risked in doing so against Sassuolo... we took a few more calculated risks and could have maybe gotten back in the game sooner than we did after being down by two goals from that early on but frankly i don't see any true positives to be taken out of today's performance other than the fact we probably already have reached our all time low and it hopefully is only uphill from here as it's hard to imagine it can possibly get any worse than this past week that we had witnessed cumulated along with the poor start we've seen in the first games of the season too.
I wouldn’t say that just yet. We have Viola, Lazio, and Atalanta next. With this current form we will be lucky to be in the top half of the table the next few weeks.
