Vlahovic is a classic target man who is best to just finish chances. He needs to learn pass and move, movement to create space, and have general better IQ to fit in our system. Watch Haaland's general movement and how he plays the City midfield into their shooting positions. That's what's needed when you're not getting your chances. Yildiz I think will play well in the false 9 position, but it can only be useful if the midfield score from his setups because I'm expecting him to play deep, thus finding himself less in front of goal. No doubt that Vlahovic and Yildiz are both better than Zirkzee, but I can see why Motta loved him. Also, give Mbangula some minutes.
motta had 5 months to work with him on this. motta is as much to blame if not more. but he played 3 pre season friendlies instead of 6

i wish we could have gotten sancho. then playing yildiz as false 9 isn't so bad when you have a good dribller with eye for goal in sancho cutting in.

So we had 2 impressive wins following with a tough tactical game against Roma a non threatening encounter against Empoli and another tactical game against Napoli which resulted in 3 D.
We have Vlahovic doubts in Motta now which is problematic. We must beat Genoa so a change into this game - I dont know if it is such a good idea.
On January - Unless Vlahovic suddenly revives - We MUST sign a forward.
How do Man Utd feel about Zirkzee? I mean a loan (even without an option) would be a nice move and will allow us to wait until the summer.

He is a good player but not an exceptional one. Has been hyped so much. He is still a good player and if we do get him - Motta will make it work but overall for this Juve - I would rather get a forward who is fast and knows what to do to shake of his defender and put the goal in the net (what Vlahovic should have been...)

You can't start benching Vlahovic already. We'll never sell him. You have to pump goals in him. Sacrifice some defending for scoring and long term profit.
Thuram has to play to cover counters and then Cambiaso further forward beside Yildiz, not inside playing DM.
