I don't know what Ranieri has planned but I would play this:
---------------Buffon

Grygera---Leggro--Mellberg---De Ceglie

--------------Marchisio--Poulsen

---Camo---------------------------Giovinco

--------------Del Piero---Amauri

It gets complicated with Sali getting the nod ahead of Giovinco though.

we got Poulsen for the dirty work in the MF...would like to see C-Ra take a bold decision and go for the win iinstead of the safer and reliable option

With a such a defense, one DM is not enough, esp now, without Chiellini,
CR is not bold enough to try such an offensive scheme against such a strong team, risking to lose the opener of the championship.
He wants our midfield to be our first line of defense and Giovinco can help that,
    neither can Molinaro cover him.
If CR is bold enough he could use the trident!

He will not use a trident in our first match, an away game and against a tough opponent.

Yeah, i know that was too optimistic, thats why i added IF.
Chances are that he will not start with a trident but he might change his mind during the game, esp if Fiorentina scores first... or if they get a red card.
Long time since we agreed on some Juve related matter, Doc. :malt:
We agree more than you think, but i rarely make an intervention when i agree with someone, it makes the dialog too boring;)

This is going to be an awesome weekend. First Penn State American football game on Saturday (will be at the stadium) and then the Juve match against Viola on Sunday.

I wouldn't have any problem with him going with the safe option to start with.

If needs be Giovinco can come on at half time or whenever he is required.
