The game yesterday was so good i couldn’t resist to watch again this pinnacle of Jj’s football. So I checked all the situations that resulted in us losing the ball from the moment McKennie decided to shit his pants in front of the goal as this was the moment we basically went home and called it a day.

Situations not included:
-clearing the ball after Viola’s crosses;
-corner crosses if they weren’t terrible;

‘2 players combining’ datapoint was added if the pass was risky/not good enough, but the receiving player still tried to do something.

After Viola scored, we gave them the ball away fourty-five fucking times. 45!
As you can see it’s mainly the usual suspects with some additions that were being noticed by most of us - Locatelli out of form, Perin not good with his feet.

Overall whole team seems disjointed as fuck and lacking absolute basics of the game like solid passing and good positioning. And I wouldn’t write “thanks Allegri” because the same was observed with 2 previous coaches. Something is rotten inside.

Of course this graph is not the full picture as it doesn’t show how much the player was involved (for example McKennie being a passenger).

If someone could CC this to Jj’s analytical HQ as I’m 99% sure it’s still more analysis than they do on a daily basis.
