Yeah forza the three points! Shame that Romashit and Interpoop got 3p...
Roma and Inter are not the teams we are focusing our run on, right now.

I'm just glad Serie A is shite this season, 'cause that means we are still init to winit.
It's just because Serie A is not shit this year that we don't have that much margin from the top of the table, despite the awful start. There's a decent competition. This Napoli or this Roma in one of the previous leagues would have almost full score of points.

No they wouldn't. Napoli of this season is mediocre compared to Lavezzi-Cavani Napoli. Roma of this season is mediocre compared to that Strootman-Benatia Roma. The top end of Serie A is garbage. That's why it's cluttered up there. Any one of our teams from the last 3 years would destroy this Serie A.

My fault for quoting, I already figured out that you were a total douchebag.
I'm more of a half empty type of douchebag. Optimism isn't my thing. Realism tendering pessimism is my trolley.

I'm sorry, I didnt think about it. Yeah, right, the Lavezzi-Cavani Napoli... Very consistent, and their way to play is miles better than Sarri's Napoli.

Also their midfield and defense was really better back then.

I appreciate the facepalm, but you're still wrong... Nor the performances nor the results in Europe, nor common sense, suggest that this Serie A is weaker than the others before... It's not like if I really care about it, but that's it.

Back then they were far more dependent on few individuals, while now they look like more of team, more complete unit.

And at which point both of them had great teams?

Also compare Milan and Inter's teams from the past 4 seasons.

What? Napoli didn't even qualify for Europe, lost to Dnipro in Europa, and upgraded to Allan and Sarri, that's about it. They wouldn't even be in CL places right now if Juve was still good. Laughable to say they are better than Cavan-Lavezzi era, when they made knockouts out of a group with Bayern, ManCity, Villarreal.

You really have to be fucking kidding. 2011-12 Napoli shits all over their current team and it's not even close.

And Roma 13/14's best 3 players were Benatia, Pjanic, Strootman. Those would still be their 3 best players if they were playing for this Roma. That team is incompetent defensively and slightly better offensively than that team. On the whole quite a bit worse.

Fiorentina is no better than the last couple seasons. Only Inter and Milan have improved of teams at the top of the table. And that is more than offset by juventus falling off a cliff. Not to mention that this Milan is still shit compared to Ibra-Silva Milan in 2011-12.

But seriously this Napoli over 2011-12 Napoli.

2011-12...

Juve, Milan, Napoli all > any team in Serie A this year.

2012-13...

Juve, Napoli > any team in Serie A this year.

2013-14...

Juve, Roma > any team in Serie A this year

2014-15

Juve > any team in Serie A this year (by a country mile)

Last season was the low, but more than made up for by a great Juventus. This season a few upper teams have made improvements to actually be half-decent teams, but from 2011-12 to 2013-14 there were at least 2 teams every season better than any current team in Serie A.

Very important 3 points here, but still many problems in our game that need to be fixed.

Start of the game seems to be a nightmare for us. We enter every match like bunch of pussies and either concede a goal or fail to make first chance until 30th minute.

But the rest of the teams were utter shit, nowadays the teams from 3rd and below are much stronger than past 4 seasons or even longer than that.

I've agreed with this, but that leaves a crappy league with many decent teams, good parity and absolutely no CL contenders.

I mean 90s Serie A with great parity and great teams would be awesome, but that's unlikely to ever happen again, so I'd much prefer a couple dominant teams who can actually do something in the CL than this mess. Obviously one of these teams being Juventus.

Don't see how we will breach that top 4 sadly unless two of those four capitulate. And it looks highly unlikely, because they're psychologically more relaxed knowing that Juve have weakened. All of them have had a headstart and all of four of them look more integrated than Juve, which will hold them in good stead for the course of the season. Especially Inter who have no european commitments either. Sad but i don't see CL for us next season, or even fourth place.
