i think it's wrong to blame this all on appiah. He did a mistake and lost the ball in midfield, but still our defence should be strong enough to handle that when we have like 6 men behind the ball!!! I think Zebina did a bigger mistake when failing to win that duel with Zola. Zebina is about the double of Zola's height, but still he gave him a free header. Actually he was nowhere near winning that duel!!!

Buffon;some excellent saves especially the one on one against Langella.he was great and couldn't do any thing for Zola header (7)

Zebina;I feel he is damn close to his awful days at Roma.his height's about 190 cm...Zola's about 168 cm...but Zola beat him in the air.he is one of the reasons of that late goal (4.5)

Cannavaro;he was good tonight though he made a bad mistake that Buffon saved us (6)

Thuram;just like before,he was good.Cagliari's goal wasn't his fault (6.5)

Zambrotta;he did a lot,but his crosses weren't as good as before.in the second half he was unseen (6)

Camo;he is one of our best players of this season, but in this match he wasn't that good (6)

Nedved;he tried a lot.a nice assist for Emerson, many good passes,an awful free kick, also he suffered many fouls. (6.5)

Emerson;I can't remember a bad performance of Emo this season.he scored with a nice header that I bet,Zlatan would miss it:D (7)

Blasi;he did his job.no one expectes more.I don't know why he's subed (6)

Zlatan;this guy should learn many things especially about dribbling.now he's playing in Italy but it seems he still lives in Netherland football.his team work is poor. (5)

Trezeguet;after a long injury,I think it was a big risk to play him from the first minute.also, after a long injury, his performance was acceptable (5.5)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Del Piero;he plays about 15 minutes.some good moves that stop by defender fouls, and nothing more.I beleive Capello should play him more in this match since Trezeguet was invisible in the second half (5)

Appiah;I really don't know why should he come in.Blasi and Emo were good enough.he couldn't control the ball and missed it a lot.his mistake on goal was terrible.sell him plz (4)

The problem lies within the midfield. We do not have a natural playmaker who can control our attack. All the best teams in the world have playmakers except us.
And the fact is, it makes us so predictable. There are no surprises from us to use against our opponents.

nop guys if you do not know me so please check my posts posted some month ago....;) and you'll have answer... if I am a glory hunter... but if you dont do that I'll tell ya...

I am Milan fan since I was very young [9years old] I saw em playin against Olympique in UCL final 93... I do not know the team title or players there... but like the jersy colour....

MUFC I started to support after incident when King Eric kicked one cheeky guy... and he was punishe I thought that was unfair... btw, i do not knew MUFc was the great club that time cuz I wasnt so keen in football that time as I am at the moment.... that's it....

in UCL I will support both teams... and do not feel deprived if one of em will lose... I will support another.... hopefully I wish MUFC gain victory due to 2 titles to Milan's 6....;)

btw, I can not recall a match my both teams palyin against each other ....
fvck off, wht u doing in our forum

if we put a playmaker, we will be missing a central midfileder, we saw that when Olivera played in the middle....this means both pur central midfielders are below average. Our flanks are not the best, maybe Camoranesi is playing good, but c'mon he is mister inconsistency and as Barkuss said Zambrotta should and should and should run more, we all love him because of his offensive game NOT the defensive

then the attack.....wow....DP is not in his form and let us not start a new DP discussion, Zlatan is a good player that adds something to the game but with his over chewing he is taking all what he adds away....Trezeguet is back from injury now but can he add something to the team? NO he can ONLY score IF someone makes him score

Then we need one good central defender to help Cannavaro and Thuram, these 2 are old and need support

Jeeks, Canna and Thuram aint having a prob in defence, but it's capello when you lead 0-1 you can't ask your team to defend the whole 30min...he reminds me of Trap

Just one sentince for another disgrace!

FYCK THAT MOTHERFYCKING CAPELLO AND HIS DEFENDING STYLE!:fero:
Dude face it, our material doesn't allow him to do nothing else. If Lippi was the coach we would have started an out of date dp legro and more shit. Capello have obviously realized what we need since he's going on a selling spree.

And all of you are saying DP gets bashed and Zlatan doesn't. Gotta say you guys are bashing him pretty well, still he's made a better debut in serie Athan ADP, Vieri, Trez, Crespo, Amoroso, Bierhoff, Inzaghi, Signori, Batistuta, Van Basten, Vialli, Serena, Maradona, Pruzzo and Bettega to name a few (Swedish people prolly know were i got these stats from :D) with he's 9 goals and 9 assists.

Lets hope we get what we need, and not like spending 600m for Puyol. Our first choise should be a playmaker.

I am not saying we have a problem, but still these guys need support, they will not play 90 minutes in all the coming games...realistically they cannot!!

We just do not have offensively adept players to make this system work. We need quick wingers who can take players on and create chances themselves, a la Robben. We need two central midfielders that are able to attack and defend with the same Juve-class ability. We need a strong defense that can handle the pressure of relentless attacks.

As of now we only have a good defense. However the players we have right now just are not cutting it. Nedved is actually a better player in the middle of the pitch because Pavel is not a speedy winger like Robben or Vicente and seems to not be able to take players on anymore. Blasi is okay in the defensive aspect of the game but we need somebody who can also attack, because that is what this sort of formation calls for or it will not be effective. We need a Pirlo or a Rosicky to actually make sense with the ball and make good passes.

I would give anything to have Robert Pires and/or Tomas Rosicky right now.
