Starting Giovinco and resting either DP or Diego sounds good to me. They both put in hard 90 minute shifts against Genoa and Ajax.

Seba for Diego in this game. Diego has never been rested yet.
indeed,Ale should play no matter what.he's in great form.
but i real somewhere around here that Zac counts Gio as striker...

btw, only poulsen and iaquinta would be out injured.what the hell?is this a dream??
since september08 we kept on having 5-6 injured players on average

IMO Ale should be rested because we have to play Ajax agin next week followed by Palermo. We cannot afford another injury to Ale. Plus Camo is back so they should go for 4-2-3-1

Just wanted to suggest the same. Luckily I decided to check if someone didn't come to the same idea :)

As Esteban said about Del Piero, we don't know if the guy needs any rest or not. The same might go for Diego. Tbh, he's not showing tiredness on the pitch.
But if there is a match to rest Diego, then it's this one. He's a yellow away from suspension (I kinda regret that he didn't get his 4th yellow against Genoa) and after this we have a hell of a schedule, playing against some direct rivals of ours (Palermo and Fiorentina) and playing in Europa League. Judging by our result yesterday, it looks like we'll stay in Europe for a while and we'll have 2 matches per week in the following weeks/months.
This might be a good time for Diego to charge the batteries.

On a different topic, I have some good news about Fiorentina-Juve. That match is played in week 27 (probably Friday March 5th or Saturday March 6th) and it comes right before Fiorentina's second leg match against Bayern on March 9th.
Considering how Fiorentina got a solid result which gives them chances in the second leg and considering how between today and March 5th (15 days) Fiorentina also has to play in serie A against Livorno, Milan (the rescheduled match from round 17) and away to Lazio, it's gonna be the most perfect time to play them and win.

Del Piero rested half of the Season so I don't see him needing a rest.
Diego could use a few minutes pause to charge his creative batteries.

Oh, and I forgot to say that Di Vaio got injured last week and he'll be out for a month. Just like last season, he's been their best scorer and best player this year too, so it was another perfect timing for us :D

I am not sure i'd rest anybody, unless it is absolutely needed. Which only ppl around the club can tell. We need that 3rd win in a row to settle our players minds. However if we are one or two goals up early, then DP and Diego should be subbed.

I can see the reason to rest players, and especially DP seems improtant for us and it will be hard if he suffers another injury. But Sampdoria will play :inter: and Palermo will have a difficult match against Lazio.
I dont think it is wise to gamble, an maybe tie or lose. And the points against bologna are as imprtant as the other ones.

Lastly forcing Ajax to have to win 2-0 might just give us the possiblity to play Gio for Diego or DP, since deploying suffcient defensive force should be enough to go through.

Think of how stupid it would be to play Giovinco instead of Diego:

1. Diego is always going to be our no. 1 creative midfielder
2. If Giovinco can't play another position, then he will have to be a back-up for Diego thus he will get even fewer games
3.Again... If Giovinco cannot play in another position then he should leave Juve... as far as we know, Diego is the more mature and talented of the two.

If Zac still want to play 3-4-3 it should be like the old Ajax formation. If everyone is fit:

---------------------Buffon------------------

-----------Caceres-Legro-Chiello----------

----------------------Melo--------------------

----------Candreva------Sissoko----------

----------------------Diego-----------------

------Camo-------Amauri---------Seba---

Then we have a lot of creativity. But maybe to offensive
