biased as hell but out of those 3 it is obviously legro and giorgio
big props must go to legro for turning it all around, lets be honest whop here would have thought he would be a linchpin in our defense 2 years ago?

It's more than just Mexes-Juan, but seriously... the only teams who have given up more goals than Roma right now are Torino, Reggina, and Cagliari -- bastions of Serie A defensive units.
They've played 2 games with Loria-Panucci as their CBs and you can't get any worse than that.

IMO,Mexes-Juan

even though Mexes made 2 big mistakes in defense so far I think he's a great defender and Juan is just underrated.

Samuel-Cordoba are the best defensive pair by far. Or Samuel-Chivu, no contest here...
Samuel is injured all the time. I really can't remember when was the last time i saw him play for Inter.
Yes, on paper Samuel-Chivu beats everything, but the last time these two played together was last October/November when we played 1:1 against Inter in Torino.

Nesta-Maldini was brilliant partnership few years ago. But Nesta is out for so long while Maldini plays 1 good match in 10 so we can exclude this partnership also.

From those who currently play, Chiellini-Legro is the best one.

Btw, after 5 rounds Juve has the best defense in the league. We conceded only 2 goals so far (we didn't concede even in CL). The credit goes to our defense but also to the Sissoko/Poulsen/Marchisio partnership in the middle.
Unfortunately, we suffer offensively due to our defensive orientation.

He was great last season IMO.
Do you know that the goal we scored against Inter when we played in Torino came just after a Cordoba clearance?

He may be a good defender but he makes mistakes that cost his team a lot.
