Marotta wont fire his man :p Plus we cannot afford another year without Champions League football.

I'll hit the panic button 10-15 games in not the first game. We played badly but there is a long way to go yet.

People went on and on about how the players we brought in offered more movement and pace, but where the hell was that today? I didn't see it. Looks like one of the matches from last season, except probably worse for the most part.

Mr. Gol said in the match thread that we have a better squad and better manager than last year. The squad is certainly debatable, but the manager isn't. Del Neri isn't any better than Zaccheroni.

Buckle up for a long season. And yes, it can get worse than last season.

need to face facts....we are an average team with below average players for me:

machisio: overrated, secind best all game
melo: our best player should have stayed on the whole game
pepe: good BENCH player

seemed better in the second half need an upgrade for DC. if we are stuck with Quag and DP all season we won't finish better then seventh. 2 games in 2 injuries (martiinez and amauri) right on schedule with last season.

This Juve is promising, they just need some time to adapt. A season opener away defeat is not a shocking result.

Although I have grown incredibly pessimistic with Juventus now, a part of me deep down was hoping Del Neri would step up to the plate and this no thrills team could be effective and difficult to beat. It's too early to jump on any bandwagons but that was poor viewing and it really doesn't look good for our season. You want to start well and build up momentum and confidence. I at least expected a 'honeymoon' period. Even Ferrara had one of those.

"This hurts, this really hurts..."

sums up exactly how I feel

Taking Krasic off while he has more talent in his little finger than the rest of our wingers combined. Keeping DP on for the whole match, keeping Marchisio on for the whole match, subbing off our best player (Melo). Based on this match Del Neri doesn't really look like an upgrade over Zac or Ferrara.
